BTS member Suga (Min Yoon Gi) has tested positive for COVID-19 after his return from the US. The septet recently had a successful 4-day concert show at SoFi Stadium, LA. Moreover, BTS attended Jingle Bell Ball after their concert. On December 24, BigHit Entertainment shared the news in an official statement. The label also shared details on Suga’s further activities and his current health situation.
On December 23, Suga returned to Korea from the US. Upon arrival, the BTS rapper was made to self-quarantine and had a PCR Test. The following day, he was diagnosed with COVID-19, despite being wholly vaccinated. The other members returned to their hometown earlier. Luckily, they did not test positive for the virus. Unfortunately, Suga was the last to return and is currently isolated, focusing on recovery.

BTS Suga has caught COVID-19. And BTS’s house label, BigHit, has issued a statement to share the information. After returning to South Korea, he immediately went to self-quarantine. And a day later, he got positive results for COVID-19. Previously, he tested negative for the PCR test taken before heading to the United States.
As per the statement, Suga is practicing self-care with the guidance of the healthcare authorities. It is reported that he was not in contact with the other group members. Suga had personal work promises, which made him stay in the US for some extra time. Hence, he was the last one to return to Korea.
BigHit assured that their top priority is artists’ health. Thus, they will make sure that the star producer gets well soon. The other members (RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) are also quarantining.
BTS ARMY has also begun sending good wishes to the BTS member. The fandom is currently trending on Twitter for sharing “Get Well Soon” and “Speedy Recovery” tweets.
