Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 Spoilers, Release Date, Interview

The fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine were shocked after there was a major announcement regarding the series and it was about the show being canceled. However, they quickly changed it as the fans were really annoyed about it.

Just one day after the show being canceled, Fox came out and announced that the show would be getting a new season. Even if the series hadn’t been picked it up again, then I’m pretty sure that some other company had taken advantage of the situation and picked it up.

In this case, NBC reacted the quickest, and in an interview, the chairman, Robert Greenblatt revealed that how much he regretted selling the show. He said, “Ever since we sold this show to Fox I’ve regretted letting it get away, and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home. Mike Schur, Dan Goor, and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC, and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up.”

There hasn’t been an update regarding the release date of the sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. However, it is expected that show will launch the new season in 2019. So, the wait for the new season is pretty long. The filming for the new season reportedly began on August 20. There’s something that I’d like to add, and that is, the new season will just have 13 episodes. The older seasons have had 20+ episodes. But, the new season will actually be pretty short. There’s news that this might be the final season of the series.

Now, moving to the cast of the series; here is the possible cast for season six —

Andy Samberg as Jake Peralta
Stephanie Beatriz as Rosa Diaz
Terry Crews as Terry Jeffords
Melissa Fumero as Amy Santiago
Joe Lo Truglio as Charles Boyle
Chelsea Peretti as Gina Linetti
Andre Braugher as Raymond Holt
Dirk Blocker as Michael Hitchcock
Joel McKinnon Miller as Norm Scully
