Boruto Episode 80 was probably my favorite episode in the Mitsuki arc so far. Yes, it didn’t have any action, but the bond that was formed between Mitsuki and Sekiei made me feel something. Sekiei isn’t human, so he doesn’t know what humans are like. Mitsuki has been living with them for quite a while now, so he explains everything that humans do to him.
In the end, Seikiei is about to die when help arrived and had it not been for Mitsuki; he would’ve died already. I liked this episode, and I think the photography in the episode was top-notch. We also saw Kurotsuchi being attacked, and she was captured. Now, I know a lot of you think that she’s weak, but I think she was more shocked at realizing who the culprit was. To be honest, I think it is none other than Onoki’s grandson, and possibly the brother of Kurotsuchi.
Lord Ku is the same person who was presumed to have died young and later betrayed Garaga as well. He is Onoki’s grandson who is now plotting something against the Ninja World. Knowing this, Kurotsuchi couldn’t just attack him, and she was captured at the end. In the next episode of Boruto, we’ll see Boruto get back to his senses.
He’s been knocked out for quite a while now. He’ll end up talking to Garaga. It is here that he’ll arrive at the decision to wake up and follow Mitsuki once again. Mitsuki cannot just be gone like that, and he knows it. Boruto Uzumaki will follow him to the Land of Earth, and that is where most of the issue is going to be resolved. I expect to see an excellent episode next week, but I still think that Episode 83, and Episode 84 will the big ones for this arc.
