Boruto’s Mitsuki arc began last week, and I think it is safe to say that it is shaping up to be the finest arc the series has seen so far. I really liked how the episode was directed, and the storyboard, in particular, was terrific for me. Even though there was minimal action in last week’s Boruto episode, I think it was one of the best episodes we’ve seen this year, and I hope the next episode is just as good as the last one.
In this post, we’ll be talking about Boruto Episode 73 and the events that will take place this week. If you don’t want to be spoiled, I suggest you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Towards the end of the last episode, we saw both Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha leave the village in search of Mitsuki.
Boruto Episode 73 Plot
Boruto doesn’t want to abandon Mitsuki at a time like this, and things are getting really exciting now. As Sarada suggested, they’re going to go to Orochimaru in this week’s episode, and we may also see Yamato return. Orochimaru will tell them a bit about Mitsuki and probably also how he was created. Realizing that they didn’t know anything about the real Mitsuki, they’ll probably ask Orochimaru about his whereabouts, and this is where the Ryuchi Cave comes in. We’ve never really seen the Ryuchi Cave properly in the series.
Kabuto did go there in the past, but it a brief glimpse that we caught of the place and that was it. This week, we may get a good shot of the Ryuchi Cave, so I’m expecting big things from the episode. Towards the end, Team 10 will be assigned by Konohagakure to search for Boruto Uzumaki, and Sarada Uchiha and bring them back to the village.
