Boruto Chapter 28 was yet another solid chapter delivered to us by Kodachi and Ikemoto. I think they’re doing a great job, and it is a shame that the manga is monthly, because not would’ve been way more popular had it been weekly. Either way, it is enjoyable, but the wait is painful. This chapter, we got to see Kawaki build his relationship with Naruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha.
While he did get violent a few times, the reason behind that was the fact that he had a poor upbringing. Kawaki learned a few lessons, and he’s picking up a thing or two from those he walks with. The whole chapter was great from start to finish. What’s more, we got to see Ino Yamanaka again, and that’s always a plus point. Towards the end of the chapter, we saw Kashin Koji and Delta near Konohagakure. Of course, they’ve been sent by Jigen to retrieve Kawaki.
But, it isn’t going to be easy for them at all. For one, Koji is the only one who got to enter Konohagakure. Delta couldn’t do so because her chakra wasn’t registered with the barrier. Surprisingly, Kashin Koji’s chakra is registered, which means that he has something to do with Konohagakure. He’s been born there, or he has been a Shinobi of Konohagakure in the past.
Boruto Chapter 29 Spoilers
I won’t lie to you, the possibility that he’s Jiraiya also stands, but I don’t think Kishimoto will let Ikemoto and Kodachi go down that road. Coming over to the spoilers for the next chapter, I’m pretty sure that Koji will meet Kawaki, but Naruto will stop his attempt to take Kawaki back. This will be extremely interesting because we’ll get to see whether Naruto knows who Kashin Koji is, or not. I’d like to see them fight for a bit as well.
Boruto Chapter 29 will be out next month. The official release date for the manga is November 26, 2018. Of course, the scans will be available 2-3 days before that. Make sure you support Boruto by reading over official sources and buying the Volume 06 of the manga, which is out already.
