Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has been airing for nearly a yet and a half now, and we’ve already seen a change in the time slot for the show. The show used to air on Wednesdays just a couple of months ago, but then it returned to Naruto Shippuden’s original Thursday time slot. It seems there is going to be another change in the Boruto anime time slot.
This is the second time slot change that the show will be taking within just a couple of months, and honestly, it is really strange. TV Tokyo is obviously responsible for this change, and according to them, this change is happening to match the dynamic living environment of the viewers.
Boruto Anime New Time-slot
They want people to watch Boruto during ‘Restful days off while spending time with family’, and while that does make sense, it is still strange to me to see the show change time slots so often.
The exact details for this change in time slot come from the translator who works on Boruto anime, manga and various other spoilers and goes by Organic Dinosaur. As you can see below, Boruto will now be shifting from Thursdays to Sundays from 7th October 2018 onwards. The exact air-time for the show is 5:30 PM.
The Boruto anime will now air at 5:30PM TST on Sunday beginning on 10/7. This time-frame shift for broadcast was a decision made by TV Tokyo's bureau for a new concept to match the dynamic living environments of the viewers: 'Restful days off while spending time with family'. https://t.co/LRSksRszQv

I don’t mind the change too much, but I was already having a hard time getting used to the Thursday time slot. Now it’s moving again, and it’s going to be troublesome for fans yet again.
But we’ll definitely get used to it. Whether this will affect the quality of the show in any way is something that we don’t know yet, but we will definitely find out in the month of October.
