Let’s now delve into all that episode 11 of “Bob’s Burgers” season 12 will entail. Spoilers ahead!
Previously on “Bob’s Burgers” Season 12, it’s the Christmas season, and Gene seems to be bubbling with the Christmas spirit. He has assumed a new role of a DJ, playing all his Christmas classic records. Bob, Tina, and Louise are not keen on Gene’s new passion and loud music. However, Linda likes the songs and joins Gene in the Christmas spirit, much to the rest of the family’s chagrin.
Tina Learns to Gift-wrap & Gene Makes Harrowing Discovery
Meanwhile, Tina has decided to venture into gift-wrapping. She wants to be good at it, so she starts watching tutorials. It seems like she really wants to succeed at this, but it slowly starts appearing that she doesn’t exactly have the talent for it. After DJ’ing late at night and annoying Tina and Louise, Gene goes to sleep. When he wakes up, he accidentally breaks his favorite record. He breaks down and loses the Christmas spirit, moping around and being morose. He tries fixing the record by tapes but fails to piece it back together.
Tina and Louise take Gene to the nearby record store to see if they have a copy of Gene’s favorite record — they don’t. The store owner tells them to meet a collector, and it turns out to be Doug Wheeler. He rings his friend to learn about the record. He tells Gene that the copy he had of that record was the last one in the whole world. This shatters Gene.
The McTinsel Machine Remake
Seeing the state Gene is in, the family decides to remake Percy McTinsel-Bud’s “Tinsel Machine” themselves. They send Gene off to the Wheeler’s while they try their best to harmonize. A shoddy work at best, they pour familial love into it. Gene recognizes it, even though he clearly doesn’t like it. However, he gets even mopier knowing he’s ruined Christmas. However, Percy McTinsel-Bud himself appears to Gene in a vision, teaching him the value of good music and helping him realize his family’s love and effort in that remake. Gene comes back with the remix of the remake his family made for him. He has realized the true meaning of Christmas, and the family likes his remix too.
The Secret Santa Shenanigans
Meanwhile, Teddy brings up the idea of Secret Santa to Bob and Linda. Bob doesn’t want in, but Linda finds it exciting. Teddy wanted only the three of them to do it, but Linda says it can’t just be three people. Mort walks in, and Linda ropes him into Secret Santa. Moments later, mailman Mike walks in too, Linda convinces him to join as well. Teddy didn’t want others to be in it but had to go along reluctantly.
Over the course of the next few days, Teddy and Bob try to ruin the Secret Santa thing due to their conflicts. Bob doesn’t really feel like playing and doesn’t really understand how it works either. Teddy keeps phoning in to know what Bob’s gonna do and discuss the gifts. Linda stops them and tells them it’s called “Secret” Santa for a reason. The day finally arrives, and all participants show to reveal their gifts. Everyone likes their gift, and Teddy also realizes that it was a good idea, finding Mort’s gift for him just outstanding.
Bob’s Burgers Season 12 Episode 11 Release Date & Preview
“Bob’s Burgers” Season 12 Episode 11 will release on January 9, 2022. The official synopsis reveals what the next episode will revolve around. One of the two prominent stories in the next episode will follow Louise as she contends with a new change in her school. The new student evaluating the teacher plan has shifted the power at her school from teacher to student. Meanwhile, Bob and Linda will be tussling with their own point of contention.
The issue is about their final resting place. However, Bob and Linda can’t find common ground on where it should be. The episode will see the two debate this contentious topic and hopefully find some agreement eventually.
