Black Widow is releasing worldwide on July 9, 2021. The film will open in theatres, as well as, it will be available to stream on Disney Plus. Earlier, the film was released in November 2020. Then, the release date was pushed to May 2021. And it obviously did not happen. However, now it is finalized that the film will come out on July 9, 2021. On Disney Plus, it will be available on July 9 — 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET/8 a.m. GMT. And in Theaters, it will be available in some areas from July 8. You can check your local theater timings to confirm for the same.
Although, on Disney Plus, the film will be accessible only to the subscribers. Also, you will require premiere access, which will cost an additional $30. This will allow the user to stream the film infinite times as long as they have a subscription. A Disney Plus subscription normally costs around $8 a month, and $80 for a year. In March, the prices hiked from $7 to $8. However, many Marvel fans will without any hesitation pay the extra dollar to stream the film.
Black Widow marks the fourth film to release on the Disney Plus premiere access portal. The previous ones are Mulan, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Cruella.

The film tells the story of Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) as a force is determined to bring her down. Due to this, she is forced to encounter her past as a spy. Also, she will be seen working on “the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger,” including that with her sister, Yelena.
Black Widow casts Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff, and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, a sister-figure in Natasha’s life. Rachel Weisz will play Melina and David Harbour will appear as The Red Guardian/Alexei. They both are the parent figures to Natasha and Yelena. William Hurt will be seen as Thaddeus Ross. In addition to this, Olivier Richters and Olga Kurylenko have joined the film with disclosed roles. Furthermore, Taskmaster, who completes missions for the red room will appear in the film.
Black Widow is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Four release slate. The Phase four releases also include other films such as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which is set to drop in the US on Sept. 3, and Eternals releasing on Nov. 5.
