Created by Tony Isabella, Black Lightning deals with the story of vigilante crime fighter Jefferson Pierce. He is blessed with the power to harness electricity and is forced by the grueling crime of his neighborhood to come out and fight the same. The eighth episode in the series is titled, “The Book of Rebellion: Chapter Two: Gift of the Magi” and it came out just yesterday on December 4′ 2018. The next in line is called “The Book of Rebellion: Chapter Two: Gift of the Magi.” Black Lightning is based upon the Superhero of DC Comics by the same name. It aired on CW on January 16′ 2018, for its first run, with a total of 13 episodes.
In the previous episode, we saw Black Lightning and Thunder were attacked by Looker and her clan. This resulted in a fight to get Looker to release her control over the Sange. Besides this, we also saw Jennifer and Khalil becoming more and more close.
Season 2 of Black Lightning premiered on October 9′ 2018 and has currently aired 8 Episodes. Episode 9 is going to be the 22nd overall episode to Season 2 of Black Lightning. If you are amongst those living outside of US, Black Lightning airs on Netflix for y’all.

Even before Season 1 finished airing, Season 2 was given a green light by CW! Such is the aura of the show. The next episode of Black Lightning comes out on December 11′ 2018, a Tuesday. This is the extended promo, and it is touted as the mid-season finale. After this episode, there are seven more episodes to air for which the release dates remain unannounced.
