Cassie and Jerrie get closer to Tonya as they enter the building site, but they run across Ren, who puts on a show to establish her innocence. Tonya has been carefully shielded from public view by Donno. The same can be said for Ronald, who is now only a pawn in Wolf’s hands. For a deeper look at the episode’s defining events. The fifth episode gave us a deeper understanding of a few people and where their allegiance lie. This is Big Sky season 2 episode 6
We’re also keeping an eye on Deputy Poppernak, who strangely attempts to keep Jenny off his radar. Despite the fact that he is not a key character, his actions seem shady and suspicious. Dietrich, who constantly appears to be scheming something, is the second person who may not be innocent. Furthermore, Mark and Jerrie will be looking for Ronald, but as they go through the woods, they may miss the cabin where Wolf is holding him. Max, Madison, and Harper, on the other hand, may have to confront Deputy Harvey in the forest.

Big Sky season 2 episode 5 recap
The Big Sky episode starts with Badger, who is still imprisoned. Madison promises deputy Harvey that if he releases her brother, she would tell him where the money is. He won’t let her go until she shows him where the money is; her life relies on it. Madison and Harvey leave the home, and when Max and Harper see them go, they rush to Badger’s aid. Jenny and Cassie, meantime, are being fired at. Jenny requests assistance.
Badger informs Max where he can get a knife to cut the tape and liberate him inside the home. Then there’s a knock on the door, and it’s Ren. When she finds the knife on the floor with the duct tape, she enters inside with her pistol pointing and checks about to see if anybody is there. Meanwhile, Badger and Max are hiding in the closet. Ren contacts Donno, who is firing at Jenny and Cassie, and informs him that something weird is going on and that she wants him to the home right now to solve his situation.
When Deputy Harvey says he’s had enough of the nature walk, Madison tells him there’s not much farther to go. Ren then dials Harvey’s number, and she hears his mobile phone ringing in the home, which is on the floor near the closet. Jenny and Cassie are hunting for Donno when they come upon some bullet casings and collect a sample. When Mac and Badger hear Madison cry, Madison kicks Harvey and flees. Ren and Doono are also in the woods, wondering where the gunfire are coming from.
Harvey declares loudly that he will not miss the next time. Madison takes up a wooden stick, Harvey is behind her, and Harper has the bag of money in front of them. When Harvey urges her to drop the bag, Madison strikes him with the stick, causing him to fall, and the guy in the woods rushes forward and jumps him. Harvey shoots him, and the guy stabs Harvey to death and orders them to flee. Sirens are sounding, and Sheriff Tubb and his officers have arrived. When Ren and Donno discover Harvey’s corpse, she informs him that it is not their fault. Donno hears the sirens and informs her that they must go.
Jenny, back at the station, believes Harvey was not working alone. Inside his office, he informs her that she is becoming a burden. She informs him that if Harvey was a member of the cartel, Tonya and others would still be in risk. He claims that if she is correct, state investigators will uncover anything and that she must step down. Jenny walks away and phones Travis, assuring him she’ll contact him back. Cassie informs Jerrie that the more she thinks about it, the more she suspects something is wrong with Tonya. A guy enters the office, seeking for Jerrie; it is her father.
Tonya returns to the trailer and tells Ren that she doesn’t want to leave town and that she would rather remain and work for her. Tonya admits that she knows she invests her drug income in legal enterprises. People are wary of strangers, and she wants a local to win them over. She persuaded the cops that Harvey was the one who kidnapped her. She wants more out of life than a waitress salary. Renn believes they may be able to accomplish something.
Ronald and Wolf have a cup of coffee.
While having coffee with Wolf, Ronald assures him that he will not allow him to mesmerize him. Wolf poisoned Ronald, and he begins to feel strange. He convinces Ronald to lay down and encourages him to think about his mother, but Ronald refuses. He tells you to imagine his mother in this room, how she looks and feels. Later, he recalls the time he murdered his mother and yells, “Stop!” He claims his mother was a hypocrite with her own secrets. When Wolf urges him to reveal the mystery, Ronald claims she murdered his father because she despised him and he saw everything. Wolf consoles a grieving Ronald and assures him he’s a fine guy.
Badger, Madison, Max, and Harper meet, and he declares that this must stop immediately so that no one else is harmed. Max insists that they return everything to the lady who was at Harvey’s residence. Cassie learns that Tonya resigned her job, putting her supervisor in a dilemma. Max and Harper are out strolling when Harper suggests that since the man who rescued them did not seem to be a nasty person, they should attempt to locate him. Max is terrified because she does not want anything awful to happen to Harper.
Personal problems arise
Jerrie is sitting in the office, looking into space, when Mark approaches her and asks what is wrong. She informs him that her mother is dying and that she just found out today. They weren’t close before she came out, but after she did, everything changed, and they haven’t talked since she booted her out. When he asks whether she wants to see her mother again, she responds both yes and no. There is so much she wants to say, but when Ronald imprisoned her in that cage.
She said that if she had a second chance, she would want to meet her parents. But, after all, she’s put her through, why should she hurry there? Mark claims to be a slow learner when it comes to interpersonal dynamics, but he is a master at not obtaining closure. She should go for herself, not for her mother, since she won’t obtain closure until her mother is gone.
Jenny visits Travis
Jenny visits Travis and informs him that she needs whatever information he may have. He claims he can’t say anything since there has been a change. He claims to care about her, but he isn’t the kind of man she can wring for information anytime she wants. She apologizes, and he urges her to back off. He opens the door and motions for her to go. Ronald visits Scarlet’s room later that night. When she asks whether he’s making progress, he replies he doesn’t believe it, but he’s doing his bit. He informs her that they may go, but she refuses, claiming that she cannot live with her back against the wall for the rest of her life. She kisses him and asks whether he believes her. She then hurls him onto the bed and leaps on top of him.
Jenny and Cassie
Jenny and Cassie are together, going through case facts. Later on, Jenny tells Cassie that Travis is pushing her out and that she believes she genuinely likes him. Max can’t sleep since it’s late, so she walks into the kitchen to speak with her mother. Max begins to weep, and her mother tells her that whatever it is, she may tell her. After that, Max requests that she not tell anybody, not even T-Loc. Max reveals the truth. Cassie and Jenny are drinking tequila shots at the bar.
Wolf informs his wife that he made a breakthrough with Ronald and that being open about his history would help him accept responsibility for it. And if he confesses, the Legarski name will be cleared. Mark assists Jerrie with packing, and she offers him the book “Good Dog, Bad Dog” by Wolf Legarski, which she describes as “very out there.” He hands her a CD of music for the trip, and they embrace. She inquires whether he believes they might have ever been together. She grins as he kisses her. He instructs her to phone him when she arrives.
Wolf dances with his wife, then with Scarlett, who informs him that Ronald is still talking about escape. Renn contacts Jag, they argue over what she’s doing there, and she claims to know what she’s doing. Cassie and Jenny are at the pub when Jenny notices Dietrich and informs Cassie that now is their opportunity to find out who he is working for. When Dietrich and his men discover them, Cassie grabs one of their weapons and draws it on Dietrich, who advises her this is not a smart idea. Trevor appears out of nowhere and pulls his pistol at Cassie, telling Dietrich that she and Jenny are police.
