Spoilers & Preview: Batwoman Season 2 Episode 18

How Did Batwoman S02E17 End?
From Batwoman S02E27 Featuring Ryan Wilder

Batwoman Season 2 will come to a close with the coming eighteenth episode. Hold your tears because the show will return with a third season this October. Anyway, things might not be the same by then. Why because, as Safiyah teased in the previous episode, Batwoman Season 2 Episode 18 is bound to bring the war to Gotham. While some characters fight it, some need to find shelter for sure. We realized all this time Kate was pretending, and now she is in for her actual plan. She stole away a number of weapons from the Batcave, and now they are in the hands of Roman. Plus, Black Mask whom she refers to as Dad, is also on his way. This has left Ryan and the company to take desperate measures.

Batwoman Season 2 Episode 18 teases the desperate measures call in for upgrades. Luke Fox is teasing that upgrade quite away. We mean in quite big suits. It’s either Roman, Black Mask, and Kate taking the win. Or Ryan and company saving Gotham from the storm Safiyah predicted. Meanwhile, it will also be worth seeing if Kate remembers herself before she helps Roman and Black Masks conquer something she shouldn’t. The journals provided by Luke should work a little. But we gotta say the war is inevitable. So let’s break down what happened previously on the show and what we can expect from the upcoming Batwoman Season 2 Episode 18.

Batwoman S02 E17 Recap – What Went Down Previously on The Show?

Previously on Batwoman, we opened up with Ryan investigating a security guard failing to gain any information. Meanwhile, Kate causes havoc at the jail cell. Mary believes the only person who can help is Alice, who is already suffering from losing Ocean. As Luke is reading, he gets this idea of letting Kate read to make her remember. Knowing how Kate is will help her fight back. The idea is supported by Mary and Ryan. He gives her some journals to read and the key to her motorcycle. She leaves to meet Safiyah and also bumps into Black Mask calling him Daddy.

Roman pulls her into a car to tell her his concerns, Alice says last goodbyes to Ocean’s ashes as Safiyah pays a visit to her denial. As Mary gets to know about Ryan’s arrest, Sophie tries to reconnect with Kate by showing the letters she wrote. Sophie receives the message from Mary, and all gather together. Mary gives Kate her suit and asks for help, only for Kate to turn on them and shoot them with tranquilizers. As Ryan tries to explain her lawyer, two guards come in, pointing guns at them leaving Ryan to take action.

Safiyah tells Alice that Ocean was a necessary sacrifice and warns about a storm coming to Gotham. As Mary, Luke and Sophie wake up, Kate is ravaging through the Batcave. Ryan makes it in time into Batcave to save the trio. She battles Kate and grabs her crossbow to put her down. Safiyah on the other side spends time convincing Alice. When the topic of family comes up, Alice gets emotional and hugs her, only to stab her in turn. Meanwhile, Ryan and the company realize Kate went through the weapons Bruce Wayne collected from his enemies for years, and now a lot of them are missing. The episode ends with weapons delivered to Roman, with Kate cutting the bat logo and replacing it with Kryptonite.
