Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre Netflix anime has released its first PV and key art as a part of the 30th-anniversary project for the franchise. The news was also confirmed on issue #32 of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shounen Champion that was recently released. The anime will be a Netflix exclusive and will be available worldwide from fall 2021.
The official website for the upcoming anime has also launched a fan art contest for “Baki the Grappler” and passed a message to the fans interested in the contest. It reads that for the Baki 30th anniversary project, they will be carrying out a project where fans can enjoy their work from various perspectives with the concepts of their liking. Baki’s monumental manga, which is centered around fighting, has collected a total of over 85 million copies and will now be celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Baki Hanma’s Netflix anime will be the third part of the Baki series. So people can also refer to it as Baki Season 3. The series has been distributed on Netflix for its first two seasons, and so will be its upcoming third season.

What To Expect in Baki Son Of Ogre
The upcoming anime description, as it appeared on the official website of the Baki franchise, announced that Baki Hanma would be the third installment of its franchise. Baki will challenge his father Yujiro. Yujiro is the strongest creature on earth, and his father has accepted the challenge to fight him. As he finally recognizes Baki as a worthy opponent, the long-awaited fight between father and son will finally begin.
The original manga was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Champion magazine from Akitashoten. The upcoming anime will also take us through how Baki intends to face his father in a fight once again. He will be going through numerous deadly opponents, and he will finally reach the level to confront his father.
But before he faces his father, he chooses a perfect opponent to spar with. He will be facing Biscuit Olivia is popularly known as unchained, whose strength even rivals that of Yujiro. Unchained is currently held at the Black Pentagon, where extremely dangerous criminals are kept. So Baki decided to be imprisoned in the same prison just to meet and fight Unchained.
This leads to the interference of other deadly fighters getting in his way, and the only way through is to fight them. The anime will be adapting the Black Pentagon Prison arc from the manga.
