The Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 free update rolled out with exciting new features and a lot of items. It includes interesting new characters. Also, many characters from previous updates have returned. It is a social-simulation game that was released on March 20, 2020. Players can play the game in single-player as well as multiplayer mode. It is the fifth main instalment of the international video game franchise, the Animal Crossing series.

Which characters have returned in New Horizons 2.0?
Fans were missing Brewster, the roost in the previous update. So, Nintendo decided to surprise them by adding Brewster with his cafe back in the game. Yes, you heard that right. Fan’s favorite Brewster is back along with his cafe. You can invite some special characters to grab a cup of coffee and hang out in the cafe using Amiibo cards.
However, Brewster isn’t the only villager who has returned to the New Horizons world. Eight villagers including Brewster have returned back to the game. Besides, Kapp’n is back with his boat tours. You can go on a boat tour with Kapp’n to discover new islands for 1000 Nook Miles once per day. Similarly, Harv has expanded his island to the north. And the best part is that it has its own new shopping area.

What is the new ‘Pro Camera App’ all about in New Horizons 2.0?
One of the best things about the New Horizons 2.0 update is that it has upgraded the phone’s camera. Now, you can take the first-person picture with any of the villagers and even add a filter to it. Sounds fun, right? You can even click pictures using a fisheye lens, or by moving the camera around using the directional pads.
The Pro Camera App costs 1500 nook miles in the game. But, we think that it’s worth the fun!
What are the new updates with villagers’ interactions in New Horizons 2.0?
One of the exciting updates of New Horizons 2.0 is that you can now talk and buy gifts for your villagers. The islanders can randomly come to meet you on your island and might play a game with you. Islanders can give you gifts and even play minigames with you.
The update has introduced 5 new crops – wheat, tomatoes, sugarcane, potatoes, and carrots, and fans can’t be happier than this. A lot of new DIY recipes are also added for cooking. You can collect new recipes, create gardens, and give brand-new gifts to other villagers and characters.
What are the home and player improvements in New Horizons 2.0?
Now, you can upgrade your total storage capacity to 3200, 4000, and 5000 items. In the previous updates, the storage could only be upgraded to 2400 items. You can customize the exterior shape of your house on the island using four different styles. The 4 different styles are default wood and stone appearance, log cabin, rounded stucco design, and a Japanese aesthetic. The good news is that the price of customization has also been reduced. Further, the game will have new hairstyles. Home improvement can only be accessed by players who own the Happy Home Paradise DLC.
