Want to know all about Amber Heard’s testimony? It is finally Amber Heard’s turn to share her side of the issue in the ongoing Heard-Depp defamation trial! After taking the stand, the Aquaman actress admitted that she struggles to find the words to describe how painful this is as it is horrible for her to sit here for weeks and relive everything.
Amber Heard recalled her first interactions as she described the entire experience with Depp and how they instantly hit it off while filming The Rum Diary in Puerto Rico. Ms Heard further stated that they fell in love with the film’s press tour when it was released back in 2011.
What Did Amber Heard Claim While Taking The Stand?
While the two were very much in love and tied to the knot, their marital bliss came to a sudden halt when Heard claimed Depp struck her. The actress further explained how the actor was explaining a tattoo on his arm that said Wino, which was an alteration to a tattoo he had made during his whirlwind romance with actress Winona Ryder. Amber Heard admitted that she laughed because she thought he was joking. However, she was taken aback when Depp slapped her across the face. Mr Depp has denied this allegation, further stating that he never struck Ms Heard. The actor even characterized Heard as having “a need” for conflict and violence.

The Aquaman star further opened up about Depp’s addiction struggles and revealed how the actor used to come back clean and sober and would be extra nice and extra apologetic, and they would be good again. Ms Heard further claimed that Mr Depp conducted a cavity search on her after an altercation during a drug-fuelled desert party in Hicksville, California, as the actress just stood there.
The ongoing defamation case came into existence after Ms Heard wrote for the Washington Post about being subjected to domestic violence. While the actress did not mention her ex-husband or any other alleged perpetrator by name, it was later pointed out by Mr Depp’s lawyers that the article was clearly about him, and it tainted his career while incurring incalculable damage to his reputation.
