Boruto is one of the most uprising anime running right now, and after the fierce fight between Naruto and Isshiki, the world turned its attention to a larger extent. Initially, the anime remained a hot topic for a lot of criticism, but now it seems that the anime is getting its own audience, and Naruto’s effect is slowly fading. We have witnessed so many intriguing events in Boruto anime itself, and here, we are going to present them all in front of you. Here we shall discuss all the twists and plot points in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which were shown to the audience, so make sure to read on ahead.
Boruto is a Japanese manga-based anime and the sequel of the legendary anime Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. The story begins with the journey of Boruto Uzumaki, the son of Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage of the leaf. The concept of the anime is still the same as Naruto, including the lives of Shinobis but in the modern era. The story revolves around the main protagonist Boruto Uzumaki who has the exact opposite dream as his father had. He doesn’t want to become Hokage of the village. Instead, he wants to become someone who will serve Hokage just like Sasuke. The story further progresses with new villains and new power concepts.
Surprising Elements In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations:
In Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, we have seen Jiraya and his will to change the world. He also showed his might and extraordinary powers in the old hit, but in Boruto’s time travel arc, we witnessed the completely different side of Jiraya. We saw how intelligent he was, and he even predicted the stranger to Sasuke. He even asked Sasuke to erase his memories as he was completely aware of the consequences of those actions.
2. Onoki’s Death
Onoki played a very important role in the Fourth Shinobi War and had been the oldest living Tsuchikage of the Iwagakure. But in Boruto, creators dedicated the whole arc to this character and his artificially made son. Sadly, his son took the wrong path, and ultimately Onoki dies in the end. So yes, we finally lost the most veteran shinobi of Naruto Shippuden.
3. Kurama’s Death
Kurama was with Naruto since he was born. Initially, the fox was the mass of hatred always used as a weapon to bring chaos, but when Kurama was within Naruto, he considered him as his brother and never used that fox to kill innocents. Naruto befriended Kurama, and together, they fought to save the world. But in Boruto: Naruto Next Generation, Kurama sacrificed himself for the sake of the world. Naruto used his baryon mode, which helps him defeat Isshiki but costs the life of Kurama. Now, the superhuman strength of Naruto is gone, and he is alone with himself. This even is easily one of the biggest twists in plot to occur in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
We all know how powerful Rinnegan is and how its one look is enough to defeat even powerful shinobis. But in the fierce fight between Isshiki, Sasuke finally lost his Rinnegan, which makes Konoha vulnerable to attack from baddies. With Rinnegan is gone, Sasuke lost his ability to travel to different dimensions. This loss might become gravely dangerous for Konoha and the people around, so it is very important for Boruto and others to become stronger to compensate for this loss evenly.
There is an arc in Boruto where Sarada gets really confused about her mother. She saw the old pic of Sasuke and felt that she resembled more with Karin. She tried real hard to know about her mother and finally came to the conclusion that Sakura is her real mom. Karin helps Sakura in delivery and ease her pain at the time of giving birth to Sarada.
6. Kawaki’s Attachment Towards Naruto & Himawari
In Episode 1 of the Boruto anime, We saw Kawaki fighting with Boruto, and the village was fully destroyed. Kawaki told Boruto that the age of the Shinobi was Over, and he would send him where he sent Lord Seventh. Boruto finally said that he was still a Shinobi and rushed toward him in full rage. This moment is something we are waiting for, but recently, Kawaki is getting closer to Lord Seventh and getting inspired by him. It would be really tragedic if he ever betrayed him for the sake of himself or others.
7. Bright Side Of Orochimaru
In Naruto and in the first half of Naruto Shippuden, Orochimaru caused so much chaos and even tried to destroy Konoha. He wanted to become immortal and engaged in a fierce fight with Lord Third. He is the one who killed the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and the Fourth Kazekage. He even used some forbidden jutsus and killed several innocent people. He is the reason why Sasuke left the village and became an international criminal.
But in Boruto: Naruto Next Generation, we witnessed the complete opposite side of Orochimaru. He is now a good parent (Yes, both mother and father) and highly obsessed with Mitsuki. He lives in his cave without making any mischief and even saves Boruto and his friends from Deepa. He became completely the opposite of what he used to be.
8. Momoshiki Possessed Boruto
We have seen in the series that Momoshiki is capable enough to capture Boruto’s body whenever he runs out of Chakra. When Boruto used his massive Rasengan to Momoshiki, he left his data in the body of Boruto and now can control him whenever Boruto loses his willpower and consciousness. Momoshiki used Boruto’s body to stab Sasuke’s rinnegan with Kunai to avenge him. This is a matter of concern and can become gravely dangerous for people and the village.
Naruto or another official should take measures to stop Momoshiki from taking Boruto’s body again, and in the worst scenario, they should be prepared to fight Momoshiki possessed Boruto. Sasuke even told Sarada, his daughter, to kill Boruto if he ever becomes a threat to the village or its people. People close to Boruto possibly having to kill him is one of the most vital twists in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
