Alita is a cyborg, i.e., a combination of a human being and a robot. Dr. Ido finds her almost dead but fighting for life in a post-apocalyptic scrapyard. He starts taking care of her as his own daughter and eventually adopts her. Being through a cyborg war, Alita has no recollection of her past memories, having no idea about the things that happened. But as she looks around and starts taking her surroundings in and questioning them. The flashbacks of her past start coming back to her. She discovers the fact that she has the skills of legendary martial art Panzer Kunst. Becoming a hunter-warrior and applying her skills in life, she even kills the evil cyborgs to protect her ‘family.’ As she fights more, she starts unraveling her past too.

Is There A Release Date For Alita Battle Angel 2?

The cyberpunk action movie has a fanbase waiting for the directors and creator to release the sequel. The demand for a second movie is so high that ‘Alita Army’ (the name of the fandom for Alita) is running a campaign. Talking about the Alita Battle Angel and its possible release date, director Robert Rodriguez said that there is a strong possibility of the sequel and that they are in the mood to work on it. Now that Disney had bought the Fox Studios, there is a chance that the sequel of the film can be allotted a good budget. He himself knows that fans loved this project, and as soon as the release date for Alita Battle Angel 2 is announced, fans will go crazy. The first part of Alita Battle Angel has also been one of the highest-grossing movies of Rodriguez.

There is still a chance for Alita Battle Angel 2, as the title is independent and does not belong to any production house. And as James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez have a knack for making sequels and nine whole volumes to cover, the possibility is high. If the movie does return with a sequel, so will its characters. Rosa Salazar playing the role of Alita absolutely nails the character. Christoph Waltz playing the role of Dr. Dyson Ido, who is a scientist and a bounty hunter. Edward Norton played the role of Nova, who is a set up for the sequel, according to the director Rodriguez.
