Dickinson Season 3 Episode 10 might see the entire Dickinson family coming together after several setbacks they had this season. Let it be Austin fighting with Edward constantly, let it be Susan and Emily not being able to share their love in front of the world or Vinnie not being lonely. The recent events were a hell of a ride with Emily going into the future to meet another great poet Sylvia Plath or Frazar Stearns, guiding Emily to hell to see how the world is actually working out for her.
All of these visions or events only gave Emily a better picture of where things went wrong. This saw her trying to turn her family around one Dickinson at the time. So the recent episode saw her making up with the only person who was right all along this time. That is her brother Austin as well as with her sister Vinnie. This also follows her mother. Then finally to Susan, who has been longing for Emily’s love for a while now. The only thing is Emily wasn’t ready for it. So here is how events unfolded recently.
Dickinson Season 3 Episode 9 Recap
Previously on Dickinson Season 3, we opened up with Amherst, excited to bring Edward back into politics. But Edward wasn’t interested in running for office again. This quickly resulted in Amherst kicking Edward out of his ride, leaving Edward to walk back home. Meanwhile, Emily decided to talk to her brother and sister about their father leaving all his will for Austin. Also, Austin will be taking care of Emily and Lavinia moving on.
While Lavinia comes to realize its patriarchy, Emily is against the fact that Austin will control their lives. She confesses Austin was right all the time. After apologizing, she asks him to be a better man than their father is and let his sisters have the same freedom he does. Austin agrees to the same as the sibling trio comes together. One Dickinson at a time, Emily also goes to help her grieving mother, who sees her sister’s spirit in her favorite animal.

Meanwhile, Austin takes care of his guilt of sending someone else into the war instead of him. Especially after seeing George go into one. He confesses the same, and George believes he can still make a change by staying here. Everyone celebrates George going into war while Emily confesses her love to Sue. Also, Sue went on to publish one of Emily’s poems anonymously, which Emily later recites to her friends as they applaud her.
The episode came to a close, with Emily and Susan coming intimate with each other. Amidst all of this, Higgins finally found his army who had survived the battle. He was happy to see them but had to leave to meet Emily. He placed Henry in charge and promoted him as Sergeant. At the same time, they also found out that they both know Emily, and therefore, Henry had a message for someone. Even Edward felt something as a father on his way back when he saw Henry’s daughter longing for her father.
