The creator of A Certain Scientific Index, Kazuma Kamachi and editor Kazuma Miki revealed that the third season of the A Certain Scientific Railgun anime had been slated for release in 2019. Along with the news of the third season coming out, there was another bit of news that came out. It has been revealed that the anime for A Certain Scientific Accelerator will be coming out.
The staff announced about the new season at “Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary Fall Dengeki Festival” event last month. In the announcement, it was also confirmed that Tatsuyuki Nagai would be coming back go direct the anime. The anime is being directed at J.C. Staff.
A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 3 Release Date
Kamachi’s A Certain Magical Index light novel series also received its anime series. In 2013, it also received an anime film, and it has also received several manga adaptations. Motoi Fuyukawa’s A Certain Scientific Railgun spinoff manga has also inspired two television anime adaptations and an original video anime (OVA).
The first season of the show had 24 episodes, and it was produced by J.C. Staff and directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai. The first season aired in Japan from October 3, 2009, to March 20, 2010. The second season also had 24 episodes, and it was also directed by Nagai. The season was titled A Certain Scientific Railgun S. It aired in Japan from April 12 and September 27, 2013.
