After the party, the crew gathers and agrees that they are taking battle in the next battle. They told Ernst about that, but he was surprised since he thought they wanted to enjoy their lives without interfering with battles. Frederica reveals that she is the Empress of Giad, who possesses a royal bloodline, and she can see the future of anyone. Shin learned about his future, where he will battle with the Legion and win after saving his brother Shourie. Federica also told Shin to help her save her knight, Kiriya. The training session has been outstanding for Shin and his friends. But their experience helped them out. Shin and his crew succeed with officer training and are tasked with the Nordlicht Squadron working under the command of Lt. Colonel Grethe Wenzel. Grethe talks with Shin and his friends, and they head out to a place recently reclaimed by the Federacy. When they arrived there, they managed to retrieve their wrecked Juggernauts.
This was exciting news for them since they had all the names that Shin had collected. Grethe summons them, revealing that he has something important to talk about with them. They talked about the Fido’s wreckage. Grether adds that they find Fido’s wreckage, but its core is still intact. He suggests building a new body. The boys and the other members of the crew agree to his plans. In the meantime, Frederica returns and joins the team, and she is working as their official mascot. She calls out Shin with a surprise and hands over his handgun to him. Shin thanks her and realizes that he needs that weapon.
On the other side, Shin and Nordlicht appear to help Federacy forces piloting the Reginleif mechs. They are doing that based on the Juggernaut design. Later the battle begins, and that allows Shin to meet with Eugene. Eugene is a Federacy officer who became friends with Shin before signing up those who joined the army. He is working to provide his sister with a better life. The Legion also made a massive attack, and after the explosion, Shin encounters a mortally wounded Eugene. That causes Shin to kill Eugene since he will die. After that, Shin receives a message warning him to get ready since the Legion attack will launch another attack.
