The Spearhead members scold Theoto for the way he treated Lena. After everything that happened, the Speardheard members got convinced that Lena will transfer out. Meanwhile, Lena is still thinking about how she cared about the 86s. Later she met with her uncle and her friend Annette. They talked about the 86s and realizes that it is hard to convince Lena to change her mind concerning the 86s. Later in the evening, Lena heads out and communicates with Shin in private.
Lena apologizes for things that have happened, and she asks him about the real names of the Spearhead members. Shin reveals that they went to war in the past and kept the names of all Speardhead members who died during the war. The memories, names, and histories of all the warriors had been kept safe. He one the one who keeps the record of all Spearhead members until now. He reveals that he has kept 561 names in his records. He told Lena that he would connect her, and she will talk with the Spearhead members.
Previously on 86 EIGHTY-SIX Episode 5
The episode is titled I’m With You. Lena communicates with the Spearhead members and apologizes for not trusting them. She asks them to tell her their real names, and she will also tell them hers in return. The Spearhead members accepted her apology and allowed her to lead them as their Handler. They told her that nothing will go wrong when they are under her command, and they will always be safe behind the Republic’s walls.
The members told her that they would give her the respect she deserves and never see her as a true equal to them. In the middle of the night, Lena realizes that she forgot to ask Shin something. She communicates with him after realizes that Shin has never told her his name and she never asked him. During the phone call, Shin told her his real name and she asks him about a man named Shourei Nouzen. Shin replies that Shourei Nouzen is his brother.
Lena reveals that Shourei saved her life in a Legion ambush and that day, her father got killed. She reveals that Shourei was yearning to see his brother, and he was miss home. Lena continues that Shourei told her about the Nouzen family and how they immigrated to the Republic from the Empire before the war. They arrived at the capital of District 1 and began to live there. Shin told Lena about Legion’s offensive and reminds her that she has not received any messages from the command.
Legion Shepherd Commanders
Shin noticed Black Sheep in the Legion and told Lena to cut her Para-RAID link with him. But Lena hesitates, and she insists on communicating with him. Later the battle begins, and Lena started hearing the voices of the dead. She heard the voice of Kaie telling her last words. Leno got shocked after hearing the voices, and she decided to communicate with Shin again. When Shin picks up, Lena explained everything.
Shin reveals since he almost died during the battle, he can also hear the voices of the dead from the Legions. Hearing the voices makes him predict their movements. He reveals that the Legions’ programming works like how a human brain works. The Legions are aware of that, and they copy the brains of the dead people and people they killed on the battlefield. They created Shepherd and Black Sheep models that have great performance and intelligence.
He also reveals that the Legion larger and more intelligent than the Republic knows. They are creating methods of increasing their original lifespans and plans on defeating the Republic, which will be easy for them since they are a few steps ahead. After Shin told her everything, Lena decided to work with Shin to takedown the Legion Shepherd commanders in one year or less to end the war once and for all. Later, Shin reveals about his scar and reveals that it is Shourei doing who tried to strangle him.
