One Piece Chapter 1085: Release Date, Preview & Where To Read

Excited about One Piece Chapter 1085? After the immense hype of the revelation of what was going on at the Reverie is continuing, and also finally finding out that Imu might be the potential final villain boss of the villain, that is why the One Piece manga fans are really excited to find out what’s going to happen next.

So to kick this week off, Oda decided to give up a color spread depicting the One Piece Girls since a couple of weeks ago, he gave us the One Piece boys in the color spread, and there are some details we can peak out here, like the fact the Zeus is here, for some odd read.

Since this is supposed to parallel the previous color spread, I did a little bit deeper into what some of the shirts said because the last time around, we had the Sanji Cooking Book, so I was wondering if we could find anything interesting here. So in this spread, Perona is wearing a shirt that says Kumasi for Kumasi, her pet bear; we also have Ulti wearing a dress that says Devis Sister because she is the devilish sister of Page 1.

This is the most blunt Oda could have been on Yamato aside from having her literally use 'she,' again in the manga. She got drawn with the girls.

We have Nami, who is wearing a shirt that says the Whether Queen, which is very fitting, and last, do I not know what Vivi and Tiger have to do with each other?

The last thing that we can see from this spread that is noticeable is the fact that Yamato is holding on to Sunny. Oda is teasing the fact that she did not join the Straw Hats, although I just gotta say it right here I am coping super hard, and deep in my heart, I do hope that Yamato does join.

One Piece Chapter 1084: Recap and Review

Going on to the chapter, we see that Sabo is still inside the Pangea Castle, and he is setting some guards on fire; this is when he runs into Jewelry Bonnie, who just says, “Hey! you don’t know me, I am the daughter of Kuma, and we have the same goal.” That is why they ended up teaming up together, and they ran through the halls.

One Piece Chapter 1085 — One Piece (via Shonen Jump)

This gets off-screen, but they actually do work together and find the guard keys, and then they eventually pass it off to Karasu, and after that, we have some guards running up from behind them, but thankfully Sabo the Rizzler picks up Bonnie off of her feet and jumps above the corridors.

On the other hand, the guard to the most NPC thing I have ever seen in One Piece, Four Royal Guards of the Holy Land’s Castle, got confused when Sabo and Bonnie disappeared in front of them, and they didn’t bother to look up like maybe they jumped up to the scuffle thing, no, these guys just said that they must have disappeared.

To continue their NPC behavior, they actually name-dropped something very important; one guard says that they must have disappeared because they saw “it”; they must have seen the “Legendary Phantom Room”.

Sabo finds out about the Phantom Room

In regards to the Phantom Room, I feel like we have already seen this place before, and I think it is either one of two places; its either one, Imu’s Flower Garden, or it could even be the place where we see Im looking at the Giant Straw Hats since we do know that was a giant corridor with multiple rooms.

Of course, Sabo takes note of this conversation, and this is most likely with purism onwards onto finding out about Im’s existence by the end of the flashback because Sabo has no reason to look for the Phantom Room, to look for Im because he has already completed all of his objectives, he one, destroyed the food supplies, two, declared war, and three, found Kuma keys.

There is no reason to sneak back into the castle, but it is his curiosity that is bringing him back, and I am super excited because, by the end of the chapter, we get the “Im Reveal”, but we don’t actually see what they look like, and we know that one more person gets to see Im sitting on the throne, and that person was Sabo.

That is why, somehow, one way or another, Sabo will end up in that room, and that could be a really cool reveal, so after dialogue, Bonnie and Sabo end up splitting, and Bonnie says that she is gonna go off to the Egghead Island, to see if Dr. Vegapunk has a way to bring back Kuma’s consciousness.

With Sabo and Bonnie splitting up here, I am really curious to see if we will see more of Boonie during this flashback because Bonnie, back in chapter 1061, mentioned that she should tell Luffy about Sabo and what happened at the Reverie, but as things stand, she doesn’t really know a whole bunch, she split up with Sabo before she even saw her father being freed, she split up with Sabo before anything with King Cobra happed. That is why I feel like, one way or another; Bonnie might not be done quite yet.

Leo and Sai attacks Saint Charloss

Next in the chapter, we have Shirahoshi being captured by Kuma, and Saint Charloss starts doing his goofy little dance in front of Shirahoshi, and this is when Fukaboshi shows up save her. Mjosgard, who is the MVP of this chapter, stops Fukaboshi and says he should not attack him because if he attacks a Celestial Dragon, they know where you live; they know his address; instead, why not have some pirates do it!!

This is when Leo and Sai jump in on a double-page spread and slam the hammer down on Saint Charloss, I did not expect Oda to dedicate a double-page spread to this attack, and this reminds me of the panel when Luffy uses the Bajrang Gun on Kaido, you got the panels on the side the reactions and everything, and then you have the impact in the middle.

When you look at these attacks that just a normal person would walk away from, Sai uses Drill Dragon Nail, Don Chinjao acknowledge that the Drill Dragon Nail that Don Sai can do is stronger than his own, which is a reminder Don Chinjao’s Drill Dragon Nail could break an ice continent.

So you are telling me that Saint Charloss takes this attack and Leo’s Tail Hammer, of course, and survives; that’s actually insane because, in this chapter, you can see Saint Charloss leaves the Corporeal Dimension, this guy gets actually flattened like an old school cartoon.

We even have his dad stepping in on the next page, just trolling about him, saying look how they massacred his boy, it is very cartoony, and I would honestly expect no less from the two embers of the Straw Hats Grand Fleet.

With that being said, Saint Charloss is still alive if you are wondering if he is actually dead because in chapter 1054, Kizaru and Akainu mentioned that this was an attempted murder, so he actually did not die and survived the attack somehow.

Kuma attacks Leo, and Sai

After seeing his master get bullied, Kuma actually jumps in and tries to shoot Don Sai and Leo, but this is when Morley, the Giant MVP, hits him with an underground suplex and also Karasushows up with the keys that Sabo and Bonnie gave him.

So yeah, it looks like the whole situation is going to be resolved quite soon, and I am wondering how they are gonna transport Kuma since he is hostile right now, so there are still a lot of questions with this, but with that being said, one of the people in the area mentioned something kind of significant; they say that they hit the Celestial Dragon, the Admirals are going to show up soon,

Since Morley and I guess the part of Kurasu’s devil fruit is here in the square, that means that the Admirals are no longer fighting them; they are freed up, so they could very well make an appearance in the next chapter.
