Show Me Love Episode 5: Summary
Meena is a young girl from the countryside. She is a happy and lively girl. Meena has a good voice. She sings in traditional temple ceremonies on the side. She aspires to be a famous singer. Meena’s mother gets frustrated by all gossip about her night singing. Her mother makes her daughter leave the house. She goes to live with her aunt Chat in Bangkok.
Cherlyn is a young and beautiful girl. She is disappointed in beauty pageants and declines to participate in them again. Mother Kiki, their beauty trainer, mentions an upcoming competition while eagerly anticipating Cherlyn’s response.
Later, Cherlyn and Meena become friends. She gathers the courage to give herself a chance and participate in Miss Grand Thailand. Cherlyn asks Meena to join her company and sign up for the beauty contest. Meena seems to be uninterested at first. During a discussion, she learns about the hefty sum she will receive as fees throughout the competition. When she says yes, her quest for the beauty pageant crown starts. Along with the competition, Cherlyn assists Meena making their bond becomes strong. There is a sparkle of sweet romance following their dreams.
Show Me Love Episode 5: Recap
In the previous episode of Show Me Love, Meena sneaks out of her house at night while her mother is asleep. Her younger brother helps her in leaving without knowing their mother. He assures her to handle his mother even if she is mad at Meena.
Mother Kiki announces the list of girls participating in this year’s Miss Grand Thailand. Everyone is anticipating the competition will be fierce. Girls under Mother Keke have won three crowns.
Cherlyn becomes anxious on the day of the grand finale. She receives encouragement from Mother Kiki and her friends. Cherlyn wins the competition and is named Miss Grand Bangkok. The girls spend the entire night having fun as they enjoy their victory.
Meena and Cherlyn prepare their luggage for the trip to the next competition. Meena is scrolling through Cherlyn’s social media photos, reminiscing the times they shared that made her flush. On the first day of Miss Grand Thailand orientation, all contestants gather. Meena’s mother and brother are overjoyed to see her on television.
Cherlyn becomes envious when other girls approach Meena. They are participating in an activity to get to know each other better. It is a balance game involving paper folding. Meena sprains her ankle in a minor accident. Everyone is concerned, but Cherlyn takes good care of her.
