The Watchful Eye
The Watchful Eye Credits: Freeform

The Watchful Eye Episode 9 release date is what fans are hoping to know more of after the series gave us the huge thriller with The Watchful Eye Episode 8 on 13 March 2023. The series throws light on a mystery drama series that has only recently started airing on Freeform. Back in the most recent episode of the show titled Spellbound, we saw that the gem which Elena has wanted so badly since the start of the show is actually not material but a person.

She has been obsessed with finding the daughter of Alistair Greybourne and Jocelyn Morrow, and this has what brought her to the institution. But in the recent episode, we saw that the truth really disheartened Elena and Scott both. The duo was only thinking about the money which would come for them once this treasure hunt was over, and they would be able to exchange the ruby away.

They had their dreams and lives and aspirations set, but it was too shocking to see the same. As for Elema, whose entire future is shattered, she has decided to leave The Greybourne building because she is obviously getting too involved with the lives of the people in here as well as the secrets which they hold.

The Watchful Eye Episode 8 Recap – Spellbound

As we see that Elena is getting her bags ready to make an exit, Jocelyn comes to visit her and inspires her to stay and find out the entire truth about this place before deciding not to turn her eye here at all. Thus, she decides to give it one last try and comes in to go through the letters.

She thinks that maybe some clue could be found to solve the entire mystery. Later, Scott informs Elema that there is absolutely no information about Ruby Greyborne. She feels as if the whole thing is not going anywhere, and she is stuck in a loop that does not have a way out of it.

Later, we see that Tory has decided to leave. It all starts with Dick Ayres having rope marks around his wrists, which the doctor notices all too well. He has gone through some very serious life-threatening injuries that can scare anyone.

As for Tory, she thought that it could all be blamed on a mountain hike accident, and she would get away with the same. But with the truth unraveling faster than she thought it would, it is only safe to assume that she wanted to distance herself from the whole family and get away from The Greybourne.
