Haikyuu is a sports anime, but if you decide not to watch this show, you’re making a mistake. The protagonist of this anime, Shoyo Hinata, is a high school student and loves to play volleyball, but his height is too short. Short people mostly don’t play football. He played a match against another team in his school and lost badly and decided not to play volleyball again. Then he watches on television that a short player is playing volleyball very well in the National Championship match. Despite being incredibly short, Hinata got inspired by the National Player.
The lead of the anime Tobio Kageyama is extraordinarily gifted and recognized nationally as a genius setter. It does a fantastic job of making you care about the characters and wanting to see more of them improving and getting closer to their dream.
First, they hate each other and become stubborn in the matches. Then they realize that they need to learn to become teammates if they want to win volleyball matches. As their coordination improves, they realize that they can take advantage of their unique talents to form unbeatable strategies.
Plot – Haikyuu (season 5)
The plot itself does a great job of fleshing out the characters. It flows well because it sets a final goal for the characters to strive for. The Protagonist, Hinata, is extremely energetic and competitive with flaming red hair to match.
Despite his small stature, he immediately and frequently challenges players he considers to be the best. The character of Hinata is very inspiring despite the odds being against him, and he refuses to give up his dreams. The most impressive aspect of Haikyuu is the animation; it’s incredibly smooth, and every time in the match, the motion of the player is obsessively accurate.
When the player goes in the air for the hit, the animation feels like it’s about to hit the light speed. The animation for these moments is literally perfect. it captures the feeling of being in that match the one split-second before you connect like it drags on forever, and then all of a sudden, everything returns to average speed. This manga series is written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate, and the first release’s first episode on April 6, 2014, from then; it is gaining much popularity.
