It majorly focuses on Dr. Michelle Oakley and her adventures around her home base of Haines Junction (Yukon). She helps animals of all species that includes a caribou with a tumor, an angry muskox, a grey owl with an amputated wing, and a defensive mama lynx. On this adventure of hers, she is accompanied by her teenage daughters.
