Emma and the children have managed to escape from the hands of pursuers. They find a hideout somewhere in the mountains. Emma, Ray, and Don get out every day in disguise, dressing like demons. They visit the Demon village that sells different foods and also human meat. The demon thinks that they have to get new stock of human flesh. One day Emma and others visited the Demon Village in disguise, and the demon thinks they are one of them.
Emma heard two blue demons talking about a farm that was attacked. The demons comment that stealing children is what happens every day. The two wishes that they were powerful like other demons. They would have got a chance to steal delicious human being. They both head to the nearby market and buy canned human meated inside a can. The two demons are worried that they always get scraps, and good meat goes to the nobles.

The other demon comments that it would be nice to get meat from a top-class farm, even once. The second demon comments that he thinks that the meat from Grace Field Farm is still on the run. The other one said that happened a year ago, and all the children are dead now. Emma and others heard that in their disguise since demons cannot notice them. Emma, Don, and Ray went back to their hideout and signal to others that they are back.
They find s other children working, and they welcomed them back. Lannion asks Emma and others what did they get today. Emma showed them food and water to drink. The children have just finished making medicine to treat their wounds if they are injured. Emma apologizes that they are late and they did not manage to get more food. She promises that she will bring more food tomorrow.
Emma’s Sorrow:
In the evening, the children talk about how they were attacked and think about checking the other house. They think that they cannot keep on running forever. Emma is worried about Phil and others. She thinks that if they were still at the shelter, everything would have been easy for them. They both check the path that leads them to the world on Minerva’s pen. Emma thinks that it is too far, and Gilda asks if they can make reach that place.
Emma couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night; she regrets that she failed. She thought she knew everything, but their happiness was just taken in one day. They only spent few days enjoying the luxurious shelter, but the pursuers changed everything. Emma is worried that everywhere they go, the demons are always after them. She realizes that living outside means enemies will surround them.
The Promised Neverland Season 2
Emma thinks that they should live and survive to obtain housing and food. Ray joins her and listens to her talking about what is bothering her. Emma is worried that she has freed the children. But she cannot take it while they keep on suffering every day. Ray consoled Emma and told her that they are alive because of her. He told her that she must not blame herself and no one will blame her. Ray said Emma choose the right path.
Old Geezer Demon:
Ray told Emma that they must think about what will happen next and forget about anything else. The next day in the morning, the children want to help Don, Ray, and Emma fetch food. Ray comments that it is dangerous since they are going to pass through demon towns. Thoma and Lannion said that they would be careful, and they have a demon disguise. Suddenly they heard something coming their way.
An old geezer demon shows up, but it is the blind open walking using his stick. The old geezer demon comments that children are not allowed here. It is a Holy Evil Blooded church, and the geezer went to perform some ritual. Other children were not convinced that the geezer could not see. The geezer drops his walking stick and some food, but Emma decided to help. The geezer thanks Emma for helping out, but he did not figure out that Emma is a human.
They heard the old geezer’s prayers and realizes that the demon still wants to eat humans. The geezer left and told them that he hopes they get good food. The geezer thought that he was talking with one of his kind. Gilda tells others that if the geezer finds out, he will come with other demons. They head out to the demon town, and the two blue demons notice them. The ey chased, but Norman saved them from being eaten by the demons.
