Jujutsu Kaisen is more than just another shounen anime. With the variety of themes executed so neatly, this anime is going to be in the run for a long time. The extravagant set of plot tools used by the author, Gege Akutami, to create this storyline is truly commendable. Sorcery is given an entirely new look in this manga, which has made shamanism twice as cool as it used to be. Jujutsu Kaisen is MAPPA’s new success, currently gaining popularity at a rapid speed.
The cast of Jujutsu Kaisen is well selected. We have Nakamura Yuichi as Gojo Satoru, who also voices many other renowned characters like Gray Fullbuster (Fairy Tale), Kuro Tetsurou (Haikyu), Hawks (Boku No Hero Academia), Ryu Sanada (Kimi Ni Todoke), and many more. Other remarkable voice actors in the series are Junya Enoki (Ittadori Yuuji), Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki), Uchida Yuuma (Megumi Fushiguro), Suwabe Junichi (Ryoumen Sukuna), Uchiyama Kouki (Inumaki Toge), Kimura Subaru (Toudo), Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito), Sakurai Takahiro (Geto Suguru) and Tsuda Kenjiro (Nanami Kento).

Gojo Satoru
Gojo Satoru, often referred to as Gojo is one of the main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a renowned sorcerer, well known among both, the sorcerer community as well as the curses. He is acknowledged as a threat and often called the most powerful sorcerer alive. Even Geto Suguru, who is one of the major antagonists of the series, is wary of his powers. When Jogou, one of the curses expresses his wish to battle Satoru, Geto warns as he assures him that he will definitely die if he tries to fight him. Even Sukuna understands the outrageous limits of his powers as he was easily overpowered by Gojo when they first met.

Despite his powerful reputation, Gojo is a rather cheerful man. He is tall and lanky. He has silver hair that is often spiked up due to the bandage on his eyes. He is often wearing an all-blue outfit with pointed black shoes. His eyes were not revealed until after a few episodes into the anime. However, in his fight with Jogou, he finally lifts his bandage. Gojo Satoru has beautiful blue eyes with long white lashes. Ever since his appearance in the anime, he has gathered enough simps that make him one of the most popular male characters of 2021.

Gojo was pretty much the same back in his teens. However, unlike in present times, he is seen wearing sunglasses instead of bandages. He was friendly with his friends and seemed to have gained everyone’s impression. He was always pulling Getou’s leg. They are seen having a nit-picking relationship, where they equally roast each other from time to time.
Gojo As An Adult
Gojo’s personality is adorable. He is goofy and seems to love getting on people’s nerves. He often pisses off his colleagues and keeps pestering them. Nanami Kento’s remark about Gojo Satoru was, “I trust Gojo and have faith in him. But, I Do No Respect Him!”. Gojo is clingy to people he likes and equally snarky to those he does not. Even in the presence of the higher-ups, Gojo maintains his childish persona that seems to work like a charm.

Gojo Satoru is an extremely calm character. Even in the most dangerous situation, he is careful and meticulous about his steps. Although he is kind towards humans, he holds no mercy for curses. He is heartlessly seen exorcising curses without any second thoughts and is ready to make sacrifices if need.
Gojo Satoru – Skills
Throughout the manga, we keep getting surprised by Gojo’s cool and powerful set of skills that get introduced one after the other. Not only does he have fast and strong reflexes, but he can also repeatedly create domain expansion while most sorcerers can only create one. Other than that, he is also seen flying and teleporting in seconds. Since he is from the Gojo clan, his cursed energy is extraordinary, which gives him the power to manipulate space. Here are the Jujutsu techniques of Gojo Satoru that have been revealed in manga till the recent chapter.
Mukagen
Often called “Limitless” in the translated version, Mukagen is the technique he has inherited from his bloodline as a Gojo. He is seen revealing this technique in front of Jogou during their fight. Mukagen enabled Gojo to manipulate space, giving him a chance to raise multiple techniques that may gain him an upper hand in battles.

While Mukagen lets him manipulate space as it is, Mugen allows Gojo to see things in slow motion. However, Gojo describes that the true principle of Mugen (called Infinity in the English translation) can be understood through the Achilles Tortoise. This is a very reliable skill that lets Gojo not only evade attacks but also manipulate them. When Jogou tries to incinerate Gojo, he is shocked to see him alive. However, Gojo explains the perplexing curse that what he actually hit was the “infinity” between.
Jutsushiki Junten: Ao
Using limitless, he can create multiple convergences, which lets him amplify his skills as well as negative cursed energy. This power can make impossible situations come true. While doing this, he creates strong magnetic effects.

Gojo uses this technique against Toji Fushiguro in chapter 71 of the manga. It’s a powerful gravitational force that he can control.
Jutsushiki Hanten: Aka

This is a skill that is the polar opposite of Jutsushiki Junten: Ao. It uses positive cursed energy and manipulates the divergence of the infinity. Gojo combines his blue and red techniques and sends purple cursed energy towards his target. The energy is so strong that it destroys everything in its way. It can easily exorcise any curse in range. He used this technique to exorcise Hanami from a distance in the recent episode.
Rokugan (Six Eyes)

This is the most powerful skill of Gojo Satoru. The true nature of the skill is yet to be revealed. However, so far it has been revealed that he can see through people’s Jujutsu techniques, a sorcerer’s limits, and recognize their potential. Other than that, Rokugan acts as an acceleration to his cursed energy as well as supports his skill, Mukagen.
Secret To Gojo Satoru’s Power
Gojo belongs to one of three major clans of sorcerers, namely, the Zenin Clan, the Gojo Clan, and the Kamo Clan. The members of the Gojo clan inherit the Jujutsu technique Mukagen. So what makes Gojo Satoru more powerful than any other sorcerer?
Gojo overpowers Sukuna.
Gojo inherited many of his skills from his ancestors. However, he was the first in hundred years to inherit Rokugan or Six Eyes. While Mukagen in itself is very powerful, it is said that only a sorcerer who can wield Six Eyes can use Mukagen to its true potential. Six Eyes not only navigates his attack but also enhances his defense. He can detect foreign cursed energy through this skill. He survives a close attack from Fushiguro Toji as he tries to attack Gojo from behind.
Six eyes act as a sensor for cursed energy. When he sees Getou Suguru in the Shibuya Incident arc, he is perplexed. Using Six Eye, he analyses the body and traces all the Jujutsu techniques he finds in it. After doing so, he confirms that the body is true of his best friend, who had died. However, he has difficulty accepting that he is alive. Using Six Eye he also discovers the unavailability of any cursed energy in Toji Fushiguro.

All the more, Six eyes enable him to use cursed energy endlessly. This is probably why he can generate domain expansion multiple times in a day, unlike other sorcerers who can only generate one domain expansion at the most in a day.
Gojo’s Covered Eyes
Gojo keeps his eyes bandaged all the time. The reason for this is yet to be revealed. However, there are some plausible theories for it.
In a fight, it is important for him to make sure that the enemy finds as little as possible about his jujutsu techniques so that he can have the upper hand. Revealing one’s strategy could cause serious trouble if one finds a way to overcome his attacks.
Another theory is that he perhaps covers his eyes to protect himself and others from his own cursed energy. Gojo has immense cursed energy. With Six Eyes left revealed, it might cause severe damage if he loses control. Much like Inugami’s speech curse, Six Eye might have some shortcomings.
The third and rather bland theory is that it could simply be Gojo’s fashion statement.
