It was his father, Lionel Dahmer who shared about David having secretly left and settled down at a faraway place. He believes that he is happy and living with a different identity. David has always been innocent, trustworthy, and a good person. Even though his father didn’t disclose his whereabouts, he shared that David was then expecting his second baby and was also pretty much successful in his professional career. Well, David Dahmer hasn’t done anything bad. So, he deserves to lead a serene life. David was not just ashamed but also shocked and hurt by his brother’s deeds.
He is reported to have seen Jeffrey dissecting an animal. But, he was not then aware of his acts and intentions and therefore, believed him to be doing something good.
