Alice in Deadly School Episode 1 Release Date and Preview
Alice in Deadly School anime adaptation was initially announced early in December 2020 on the official website of the anime. Through a streamed promotional video for the upcoming anime based on the Gekidol’s in-story play, Animenewsnetwork reported the release. The video also revealed more official details about the anime’s premiere date and will also be featured in Japan’s local channels Tokyo MX and AT-X.
The anime will be helmed by Gekidol Production Committee and will also be working on the writing and composition of the anime. The production team will be composed of Hoods Entertainment, and Shigeru Ueda will be working as the director with Keiichiro Ochi as the chief writer. The character designs will be handled by Kiyoshi Tateishi and will also serve as the chief animation director.
The mechanical designs will be handled by Takuya Imakado, and Prhythm will be composing the music. The entire project was first revealed in 2015 and included a featuring of its merchandise at Comic Market 89 back in 2016. The official website for the anime also released a visual for the anime accompanied with the synopsis:
“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. Theater + anime + idol = Gekidol.”
The anime is set five years after a disaster had struck, and all major cities around the world were reduced to nothing. The upcoming adaptation will be centered around girls who want to be a part of the 3D-holographic system.
Alice in Deadly School Episode 1 will be released on 04 January 2020. The official date was also included in the official PV and will be making its debut a few days from now. The official streaming details are not yet officially revealed so far except for the local channels we have revealed above.
The anime will also debut in BS Fuji on 10 January, which will be a few days after its AT-X premiere. The official released Alice in Deadly School Episode 1 preview revealed more details:
The anime was originally a stage play from Japanese theatres and was performed back in 2010. It has also produced several sequels and spin-offs. The Synopsis of the anime, as revealed by Crunchyroll, is as follows:
Yu and Nobu are practicing manzai (a two-person comedy act) act on the roof of the school. At the same time, the school building is overflowing with the presence of non-human “something else.” It is said that if a person dies after being bitten by one of them, it will turn into the same “something else” and attack people. In the chaos of the school, Will Yu, Nobu, and the other surviving students be able to escape from its evil hands–.
