Kings of Jo’Burg Season 2 Episode 2: Release Date & Streaming Guide

Kings of Jo'Burg

Kings of Jo’Burg Season 2 Episode 2 release date is what fans are hoping to know more about, and thus, we shall have a look at it. The series gives us the genre of crime as well as thrill in the episodes where we witness a criminal underworld story. In the lead, we witness the Masire brothers who rule the place criminally.

There are other aspects to this story as well because we see some supernatural things happening to our family in the lead as they were cursed years ago, and now the curse is appearing. As for the family and their men, there is no rule as to who might destroy whom, and there is a constant threat of betrayal in the air, which makes up for the thrill we are talking about.

After a successful first season, the show is coming back for yet another round for the fans. As for the cast, we can expect the main characters to come back, at the least. First, Shona Fergusson will reprise the role of Simin Masire, also known as Vader, in the underworld.

Zolisa Xaluva enacts the character of Mogomoysi Masire, also known as Mo. Sello Sebotsane does the part of Stan Mazibuko. Buhle Samuels reprises the role of Angela Masire. Tk Sebothoma enacts the character of Ttolo Masire.

Kings of Jo’Burg Season Recap

According to an official synopsis of the series, the plot throws light on family ties, especially among African families and their cultures. We see family structures and how they evolve in certain areas while also functioning within society. As we have already talked about, there was a huge threat from the families themselves, and it was obvious that there would be a betrayal of the closely kept secrets at some point.

Back in Kings of Jo’Burg Season 1, by the ending episodes, we saw that Mo has finally come to understand that he actually has a hidden family. This happened when he was trying to stalk Simon and learn more about her. Although, this was surprisingly not the bizarre twist that we thought it was. A truly weird thing happened when an actual mermaid appeared in front of Simon and started asking for blood.

In the last episode of the previous season, we saw that the mermaid is really trying to get her share of blood payment from Simon and is forcing him for the same. As for Stan, he thinks that the Masire brothers have a hand in why Jazmine has disappeared. I mean, she did pull Mo back when he was only recently released from the cell.
