True Beauty Episode 3 Recap
As the name explains itself, the series is all about beauty and the nuisance that comes with being too pretty. In the very first of the three episodes that have yet aired, our protagonist JuGyeong tried to commit suicide. It shows how she is discriminated by her family and peers just because of her looks. But when she couldn’t take it anymore and tries to commit suicide, she is pulled back by a handsome boy. The boy then goes on to scold her. He reminds her to think had she jumped off the roof, her loved ones would have suffered.
After a few days, she learns how to use makeup though. And that transforms the once, an ugly girl whom everyone despises to now the most beautiful girl to be seen around. The same family members and peers who called her names now call her goddess. This goes on to show just how judgmental the world do we live in. The same girl who was hated upon even by her own family members is now looked up to only because she started doing makeup. Hands down; it is one of the best television series you can watch right now! And if you have not watched it yet, you are missing out big time!

True Beauty Cast Details
Here you can know everything about the series’s cast and learn what turns their lives may take when upcoming episodes will be released!
Lim JuGyeong is a transfer student and our main character around whom the complete story revolves. Before makeup, she looks average and she is subjected to a lot of judgment by other characters around her. But as soon as she applies makeup, she then becomes the most beautiful woman on the face of planet earth.
Before using makeup she used to wonder how did she become that unlucky as her mom is not particularly beautiful. But she is smart and her dad may not have a 200+ IQ but he is one of the most handsome guys himself. Her siblings got better parts from their parents while she was passed the worse side of each of her parents.
SuHo is a typical handsome boy, in the Korean TV show. He is really handsome and that grants him a lot of unwanted attention. Even though everyone wants to connect socially with him, he is as uninterested in everyone else as he can be. As we find out later with JuGyeong, he is actually very kind and apparently shies easily.
His father is a very busy person and his mother passed away after suffering a long time due to cancer. Even though he kept himself closed to others, he finally opened himself to his friend SeYeon. But as it happens even SeYeon passed away and he remade his shell even thicker this time around.
Owing to the fact that Han SeoJun was trained to be a model, he has good looks and physique. But from time to time he is shown lacking in common sense. Also, his rebellious nature leads everyone to believe he is some sort of gang-member. When the truth is he is an excellent son who looks after his sick mother. In addition, he also looks after his cute little sister.
SeoJun and SuHo were very good friends but after the demise of SeYeon, he blames SuHo for her death. This leads to some serious enmity between them. He also found himself in some messy situation with JuGyeong but after some time finds also himself falling in love with her.
SuJin was the original goddess of Saebom High School before JuGyeong came around. While JuGyeong relies on makeup for her external beauty, SuJin needs no such things. Sujin is beautiful and confident and that too without makeup.
Although she is beautiful, studies well, and belongs to a wealthy family, but she actually has a hard time away from school. This happens because of her tyrannical parents that always give her a hard time in her home. Despite this she tells everyone she is fine, choosing to fight her inner demons herself.
As the name suggests she is the older sister of JuGyeong. Unlike her younger sister, she is really gorgeous, without makeup that is. She also had graduated from a very prestigious university and now works for a development team.
As mentioned earlier she got the better genes from both her parents, unlike JuGyeong who believes to be passed upon the worse parts of her parents. HeeGyong’s example is used in the Lim Family from time to time. And, as her excellences overshadow those of her younger sister, she sets up an example for her to follow.
Nothing much interesting about this character except that when she starts talking no one, no one can shut her blabbering mouth. SuA was previously the best friend of SuJin but after JuGyeong transfers to the high schools, she gets closer to her.
She is a real friend girl who when doesn’t get to talk more, instead chooses to relieve herself by doing karaoke. Also, she is the biggest of a particular group call the A-TEEN. Even though she talks a lot she was ultimately the reason for SuJin and JuGyeong to get along on good terms.
