All MCU Film Delayed Due To COVID-19 and New Release Dates

Marvel Studios, which is owned by Disney, is the recent most film production studio that is affected by the coronavirus pandemic. First, they announced that black widow and Mulan as the two films that are affected, and then, later on, they were delayed indefinitely. Now the list is increasing as more of the MCU films are delayed. This coronavirus pandemic is making a great loss to the films, and the production houses and fans have to wait for more to see their favorite superheroes and characters on the big screen.

1. Black Widow

Black widow is a film based on the Marvel comics of the same name and is directed by cate Shortland it stats our beloved Scarlett Johansson as a kick-ass Black widow. The film follows the Black Widows story after the events of civil war. It is a prequel film set in past and doest serves basis plot after the events of Endgame.

2. Eternals


Eternals are the Celestials who are living from the thousands of years on earth; the film is based on characters from Marvel comics. There is not much to say about the film plotline and other details. The film stars game of thrones fame Richard Madden and Kit Harington, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek in lead roles as different Eternals.

3. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings


Shang Chi is a character from marvel comics; He is the first Asian marvel superhero to get a film adaptation. Samu Lui portrays Shang chi and is the first Asian origin actor to get a lead role in an MCU film. The film follows Shang chi battling against The Mandarin; the film also has some comedic chops, so they have added famous comic actor Awakwafina in an undisclosed role in the film.

4. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness


Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the sequel to the hit 2016 film, Doctor Strange which stars Sherlock fame, Benedict Cumberbatch, in the lead role as Doctor Strange. The sequel rope in Sam Raimi as the new director as Scott Derrickson departs from the film. The sequel also stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett Witch as she is goona reprise her role from previous MCU films. There is not much to say about the plot of the film but would be the first entry as a horror film in the MCU.

5. Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth film in the Thor series of MCU films, Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as mighty hammer-wielding, Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. In this film, we can see Jane Foster lifting the hammer and can be lady thor. Additionally, Christian Bale has also been cast in an undisclosed role and will portray a villain in the film. The film will be an action-comedy as previous Thor films have also been a hell of a ride for the fans.

6. Black Panther 2

As of now, there is no official info about the film’s only thing that is certain is that we got a release date that is May 6, 2020, and all the cast and director are set to return in the sequel.

7. Captain Marvel 2

Disney announced the release date of this film that is July 8, 2022; as of now, there is no information about the cast and director. From some rumors, there are some speculations that Brie Larson herself is going to direct the sequel of her hit film
