As the year is going on, South Korea is bringing more and more new Korean dramas in different genres. The year is far from over, and they have already released several hit drama series, and some of them are still airing. Moreover, their collaboration with Netflix is adding up to their advantage. Another series that is soon finding its way is the Great Real Estate. The name of the drama already gives a little hint as to the story that may take place in the series.

Furthermore, the series will include Jang Nara as the lead actress. She is one of the gifted talented actresses in the Kdrama world who can nail any type of character. It is also the latest new project of the lead actor, Lee Young Hwa after completion of his military service. There is not much news or spoilers on Great Real Estate drama. But, we do have gathered some pieces of information. Now, let’s get into the details of the upcoming drama series.

Great Real Estate: Release Date

Great Real Estate is an upcoming comedy fantasy South Korean supernatural series. The series is an occult one that will definitely attract the attention of horror and supernatural lovers. But, there is not much news on whether the series will be a romantic one or not. The other name of the series is Daebakbudongsan and Daebak Real Estate. Reportedly, the drama series will begin airing from the first half of 2021 and most probably will run from April 14 to June 3 of 2021. It will consist of thirty-two episodes and will feature on the KBS2 original network. The premiering will take place on Wednesday and Thursday of every week.

There are not many hints on the production and development of the Great Real Estate. Park Jin Suk, whose previous works include Naked Fireman and School 2017, will direct the series. The screenwriter for the series is a team of three persons. They are Ha Soo Jin, Jung Yeon Seo, and Lee Young Hwa. According to sources, the filming for the series is already going on. An insider source from the production team said that the Great Real Estate is an exorcism drama but is very unique. It will depict the competition over real estate along with arising of conflict and greed. The frustration and stress of the past year will get relieved through the thrilling drama.

Cast and Preview

As mentioned above, Jang Nara and Lee Young Hwa from CNBLUE will lead the drama. They will play the role of Hong Ji Ah and Oh In Bum, respectively. Some other casts included are Kang Hong Suk, Heo Dong-won, Kang Mal Geum, Baek Ji Won, Ahn Kil Kang, and Baek Eun Hye. But, the revelation of the roles of the cast is yet to happen. There are no details of any other cast joining the series. The upcoming months may reveal whether any new members are joining the series or not.

Lee Young Hwa and Jang Nara also gave their interviews to a Korean online news outlet regarding their appearance on the new drama. They are very positive about the drama and discussed coming together for the latest upcoming series. People also have very high expectations of them as Jang Nara is already known for her extraordinary acting skills while Young Hwa is appearing after three years. It is also the first collaboration between Jang Nara and Young Jwa.

The Great Real Estate depicts the story of a real estate agent that has the capacity for evil aura and demon’s exorcism. Residents usually leave many real estate properties due to the same reason. Thus, the agent performs an exorcism on those properties left behind by the people. Hong Ji Ah is not only an exorcist but also the owner of the Daebak Real Estate. She is described as smart and beautiful but also emotional at the same time. On the other hand, Oh In Bum is a non-believer and does not know exorcism. However, he pretends to perform an exorcism for earning money. Soon, both the leads come into a partnership with each other for finding the secret that led to the death of her mother twenty years ago.
