The Witcher Season 3 Episode 1 release date is what fans are hoping to know more of. We have waited a long time to get yet another installment of this fantasy drama series. It literally brings tears to my eyes to think of the same. When it comes to the show, I get a bit emotional because the plot is just too awesome.

The story is inspired by The Witcher book series by Andrzej Sapkowski. A new batch of episodes was announced a while ago, but the worst part of it all was the fact that Henry Cavill was leaving the same. It was confirmed that Liam Hemsworth is to replace the actor as Geralt of Rivia.

With the upcoming season, we can obviously expect the rest of the cast to come back again. It includes Anya Chalotra reprising the role of Yennefer. Freya Allan enacts the character of Ciri. Joey Batey does the part of Jaskier. MyAnna Buring reprises the role of Tissaia. Mimi Ndiweni enacts the character of Fringilla Vigo. Eamon Farron does the part of Cahir. Anna Shaffer reprises the role of Triss.

The Witcher Season 2 Recap

Before we were left off on a cliffhanger in the second season, the episode ended on a very high note. We saw Ciri killing Witchers because she was under the influence of Voleth Meir. She is at Kaer Morhen. As the battle is going on, Vesemir and Geralt try to contain her.

Yennefer offers herself up as a host in order to contain Voleth Meir, which frees the Princess. After this, Ciri takes Geralt and Yennefer to an unknown place where Yennefer also becomes free. Here, they are greeted with a new glimpse. It shows how Voleth Meir is trying to recreate their own body and rejoin the world.

Soon, the trio comes back to Kaer Morhen. All this season, Yennefer was unable to use her powers, but they seem to have returned now. The Brotherhood, which has suffered a lot at the hands of Ciri, puts a bounty on her head as well as protects her. It is because they believe Vizimir is still after her.

As for Francesca, she starts killing human babies in Redania because she thinks they are the reason she lost her child. Although, as soon as she gets to know about Ciri’s elder blood from Istredd, she realizes that the Princess is the only cue who can save the elves’ world. Although, the real killer of Francesca’s baby was Emperor Emhyr. He arrives at Cintra and orders Fringilla and Cahir to get arrested because they did not tell him the absolute truth. Also, it is thus revealed that he is the father of Ciri named Duny.

The Witcher Season 3 Episode 1 Trailer Breakdown

A trailer for the third season has been released by Netflix. It will surely be a blast because we see Geralt saying that this is for the first time he has experienced fear. Given the fact that he has fought so many trolls and demons and vampires in the past if the situation is giving him the chills, then for sure, it is something to be scared of. Even the creative directors talked about how the show is going to evolve, and this time, Geralt will surely have more lines because he will feel things.
