Dancing With The Stars is back with a bang. Season 31 of the show became the talk of the town following its talented dancer, who has graciously managed to impress their fans with amazing dance moves. However, the competition is still on as one of the celebrity dancers is sent back home every weekend. People usually stick glued to the screen and cheer for their favorite to win the trophy.
However, sometimes fans are left in shock after hearing about the elimination of their favorites. So, who are these contestants who had bid farewell to the battle? Let’s delve into the article to discover who left Dancing With The Stars Season 31.
Jason Lewis and Peta Murgatroyd
Jason Lewis and Peta Murgatroyd joined the Season 31 of DWTS with a dream of winning the trophy. However, their journey ended soon after it started. Jason and Peta were sent back home during the season’s premiere party after scoring the lowest on the scoreboard.
He scored 18 out of 40 and was settled on the second-last position on the leaderboard. Apparently, after the audience’s vote, he ended up in the bottom two, leaving his fate to the judges to select the best. Unfortunately for him but lucky for Teresa Guidice, the judges chose Teresa over him, and with that, his journey on Dancing With The Stars ended.
Teresa Guidice and Pasha Pashkov
With the judge’s grace, Teresa was saved in the first week of the elimination round. However, she could not manage to impress the audience or judges with dancing tots and sadly returned home in the second week of the season. She improved her moves and managed to score 23 out of 40.
However, still ended in the bottom two. She was joined by Cheryl Ladd. In the end, the decision was in the judge’s hands, and Bruno and Derek voted for Teresa while Len and Carrie decided to save Cheryl. Sadly, in the tiebreaker, Teresa was eliminated.
Cheryl Ladd and Louis Van Amstel
Dancing With The Stars Season 31 followed a chain cycle of elimination. Someone who was saved in the last episode was eliminated in the next. After having her struggle on the dance floor, Cheryl Ladd again ended up in the bottom two. She could not impress judges with her tango and was placed second last along with Sam Champion. Again the decision was on the judges, who decided to save Sam over Ladd.
Sam Champion and Cheryl Burke
In week 4 of the season, Sam Champion scored 26 on the leaderboard, placing him in the bottom two for the second time in a row. He was joined by actor Trevor Donovan. Ultimately, the decision was on the judges, and they decided to save Trevor. As a result, Sam was eliminated in week 4 of DWTS Season 31.
Selma Blair and Sasha Farber
Selma Blair withdrew her name from the competition. During the fifth week of the season, she started facing health issues, and looking into the seriousness, the diva decided back off. However, she performed for the last time and got 40 on 40.
Joseph Baena and Daniella Karagach
Joseph Baena and his dancing partner Daniella Karagach impressed the judges with their performance and were placed in the ninth position out of the top 11 contestants. Sadly, after audience votes were added, he ended up at the bottom and was eliminated after judges voted to save Heidi D’ Amelio.
Jessie James and Alan Bersten
Jessie James showed major improvements in her dancing moves. But sadly, she could not fulfill the judge’s expectations. In week 6, she was placed in the bottom two, along with Trevor, who has improved in the last few weeks. In a unanimous decision, the judges eliminated Jessie from the competition.
