Attack on Titan Season 4: Episode Schedule and Where to Watch?
After the long wait and delayed release dates, the final season for the top-rated anime called Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) starts today. This is the fourth season in this series that will pack the remaining part of the manga story in about 20 episodes (some rumors suggest 14-16 episodes). Attack on Titan is a dark fantasy manga written by Hajime Isayama, featuring the story of a world living inside an enclosure surrounded by gigantic walls. On the other side of the wall, Titan roams freely and hunt humans for food. These Gigantic creatures are vicious and ruthless.
The protagonist Eren Yeager along with his friends, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, joins the scouts that are specially trained to fight these creatures. Through their journey outside the wall, the group finds out that the titans are a major threat to their existence, while these killing machines carry dark secrets with them. This show carries the horror theme from its manga and depicts the ruthless nature of the Titans. There is a gory nature to the show as people continuously die with no hope of survival. Only the scouts trained and equipped with the weapon to fight these monsters can do some resistance; however, these hard-fighters also meet dreadful ends at the hands of the much stronger titans.
Nonetheless, the journey through this world continues, telling us a very intriguing story of the origin of titans, the world inside the walls, and the vast void outside the walls. The fans have extremely loved the last three seasons of the anime. It is one of the most popular anime among the current generation. People loved the extra-violent and scary depiction of the show’s tragedy. It was done well while the music and plot linked to it were equally loved. However, the anime skips many story threads from the manga and only features a selected plot (a tactic to encourage fan response, keep it short and precise). It is the first show of its kind, and despite the limited content, people loved what they got.
Now that the manga is almost finished and the ending is clear, the anime producers have announced that this new sequel to the anime will be the final in this series. They want to cram the story of more than six volumes in this show, 16 episodes long, where the journey to discover the secret of titans ends. It is confirmed that the show will end at the point where the manga ends, and thus there is no room for a sequel. However, prequel films featuring the skipped storylines (flashbacks and whatnot) could follow the final season in the coming year. We will have to wait for official confirmation on that.

A lot has happened in the manga story after the point where season 3, part 2, left the story. We don’t think the anime will touch on every aspect, but we start with a different protagonist at the helm in this season. The story switches to the other side of the world, where we met Eren and the others. Another kingdom that thrives on the far side sends titans towards the Eldians to destroy their peace.
We will see from the perspective of the characters from Marley, as Eren and his forces attack their land. Eren has gone rogue as we know and threatens Marley with a decisive war.
