Resident Alien Season 3

We’re getting a third season of Resident Alien! That means more drama with Harry Vanderspeigle on SyFy. While season 2 hasn’t concluded yet and we’re right in the middle of the sophomore season with only four more episodes to go, SyFy just greenlit the show for a third run. This program is based upon a Dark Horse comic book that tells a story of an alien that crashes on earth with the mission to kill all humans, but his plans go awry. Now, he must mingle with them because his mission failed.

With the second half of this season running and concluding by the end of August this month, a lot of things are happening, including the fate of an alien baby that could feed the possible plotlines for a third season if the show should decide to take us that way. Now, let’s take a look at this upcoming season’s details without any further ado.

Resident Alien Season 2 Episode 8 Recap

When a sniper who blinks like an alien kills David, General McCallister flees after confronting David about his piece of the alien survival kit. Harry places the bag containing the alien egg in his bunker shortly after returning home to a surprise celebration. Asta intends to get rid of the house guests after Harry tells her that an alien baby eats any high-calorie food it can find after hatching, including humans; however, Harry keeps the party going by promising pie. When Harry checks on the egg in the basement, he finds that it has already hatched, and the alien child is gone. In the restroom, D’Arcy assists Kate with a pregnancy test.

Later, D’Arcy says she went rock climbing with Ben; Mike reveals that she kissed Ben after Ben confesses to planning to open a ski resort in Patience to increase tourism. Kate informs Ben that she is pregnant after becoming enraged with Ben for failing to let her know that he spent time with D’Arcy while she was away. Asta is turning 18 soon, and Jay wants to celebrate with her. When Asta enters the cabin’s bathroom, she finds the alien infant in the toilet, which has already fled out the window.

As Nurse Ellen struggles to care for them, Max and Sahar flee to inform Harry that the authorities are looking for him. When they get to Harry’s house, they see the alien infant devour a raccoon. Harry goes outside to look for the baby alien after Asta tells him that it fled out the window. Liv’s memories start to come back as she hears the infant chitter.

Alien Baby Connects!

The infant establishes a telepathic connection with Harry and shows him a vision of Goliath, who tells him that their species does not seek to exterminate humanity but rather desires to thwart the plans of another alien species to conquer Earth. The telepathic link is broken while the alien infant dives into the lake when a mysterious man who gave the original Harry the order to kill Dr. Hodges shows up and shoots the current Harry. Asta uses one of Harry’s weapons to shoot the man.
