Undercover Holiday is a romantic comedy film that premiered on December 4 2022 on the Hallmark channel. It stars Selena: The Series actress Noemi Gonzalez and Return to Christmas Creek actor Stephen Huszar. Undercover Holiday is the perfect movie to get you in Christmas spirits because it has comedy, romance, and just a pinch of drama.
It follows the story of pop star Jaylen Rodriguez who has recently risen to fame and is about to go on tour, but before that, she wants to head home to have a traditional Rodriguez family Christmas. However, due to her increasing popularity, she has been receiving some concerning emails from a ‘secret admirer’ which made her team a little worried, so they decided to hire a personal some security guard named Matt for her.
Ever since Jaylen became a pop star, her family has always been concerned about her because of all the hate a star receives along with love so in order to keep the security guard and emails from some ‘secret admirer’ a secret, she decides to introduce her bodyguard Matt as her boyfriend. Matt hesitantly agrees to her idea and goes to her house while pretending to be her boyfriend. Jaylen’s family is glad to see her dating someone and welcomes Matt into their house with open arms.
Matt and Jaylen maintain their fake relationship in front of her family while trying not to get in each other’s business when they aren’t around. But that starts to seem like an impossible task when they have to spend so much time together. As the holiday progresses, Jaylen and Matt start letting down their walls and making their way into each other’s hearts. Matt becomes overprotective of Jaylen for an entirely different reason as he lines between bodyguard and boyfriend start to blur.

Undercover Holiday is a Hallmark rom-com that was aired on December 4. Most of the filming took place in Ontario, Canada but specifically in Brantford and Hamilton. Brantford, Ontario
Most of Undercover Holiday was filmed in the Southwestern part of Ontario in Brantford. Filming in Brantford began from October 12 to October 14 and took place in several streets including George Street, Dalhousie Street, Darling Street, Market street of Brantford. The production department had to use artificial snow-covered Christmas decorations to make up for the lack of snow.
The Civic Center, where most of the athletic organizations and fundraisers took place were used as a base camp for the cast and crew. A lot of films have been shot in Brantford due to its picture-perfect locations and beauty. The films shot there include Let It Snow, Riverfront Romance, and several others.
Hamilton, Ontario
A few of the scenes were shot in Hamilton which is in the southern part of Ontario whose date is not specified. Hamilton is famous for its history which dates back to the colonial era. Moreover, Hamilton’s location makes it one of the top commercial and transportation centers in North America.
