Fred Willard (Frederick Charles Willard) was an American actor, writer, and a well-renowned comedian. He was born on 18th September 1933 and left us on 15th May this year.

Willard was mainly known for his roles in Rob Reiner mockumentary film The is spinal tap, and Christopher guest mockumentary like Waiting for the Guffman, and Best in show. he is also famous for his work in Anchorman films.
Fred Willard was born in Ohio, in Cleveland on 18th September in the year 1933. His mother’s name was Ruth and she was a housewife, and when he was 12 years old his father passed away. He was raised in Shaker Heights in Ohio by his mother after the demise of his father.
In the year 1951 he graduated from Kentucky Military Institute and Virginia Military Institute in the year 1955. After that while serving the US army he was commissioned in Germany.
In the year 1968 he was married to Mary Lovell. on 13th July 2108 she died. Willard and Mary had a daughter, Hope.
On 18th July he was arrested, because he was surmised of engaging in misdemeanor immoral act inside an adult theatre on Santa Monica, and was later brought to Los Angeles. Nevertheless as no proof was found regarding any type of misconduct no charges were filed on him. Because of this incident he was replaced with other actors in one of the shows.
He stated that the incident was extremely painful and embarrassing to him, but he has done nothing wrong. after the incident, he was required to take sex education
He died on 15th May 2020, due to natural causes at his house in Hollywood Hills, in Us as stated by his daughter and his representative.
Fred Willard started his stage career when he moved to Newyork in the 1950s. Initially he worked in the production of Desperate hours, where he worked with Vic Grecco. Later they also performed together in Greenwich Village area
In the year 1967, his debut film was released named Teenage Mother, In one interview he stated that people in the screening booed when his character stopped an attempted sexual assault on one of the lead female characters.
At the early stage of his career he performed at The Second City, Chicago. Willard was a founding member of the comedy group called Ace Trucking Company. This comedy group performed sketches on The Tonight Show with Johnny carbon more than 50 times.
In the years 1977 and 1978, he achieved fame and got recognization in the world of cinema. He got famous as Martin Mull’s sidekick and as announcer Jerry Hubbard on Mary Hartman.
He was an original cast member of the NBC series released in the year 1979 named Real People, he was also a member of the same series from the year 1981 to 1983.
His talk show named What’s hot, What’s not earned his daytime Emmy nomination for an outstanding talk show, which was aired from the year 1985 to 1986. In the year 1990 he hosted a cable tv show named Access America On the Ha! comedy Tv network.
From the year 2001 to the year 2002, he played the role of a father of 5 children on the show named Maybe Its Me. for the show named The History Of White People In America he and Mull joined up again, the show was a mockumentary.
On 23rd October 2019 Netflix announced that Willard was a part of the comedy series made by Netflix named Space Force which was to be released in 2020.
