The Strongest Swordsman Chapter 34: Recap
In the previous chapters, we saw Shi Feng finding the greatest mage to ever exist in the future, Violet Cloud. As the time has been reversed by 10 years, Violet Cloud currently is nothing but a lowly human who makes a living by selling iced beverages in auctions. She accidentally falls while trying to sell beverages and gets in trouble with a player named Drifting Blood who wants to take advantage of her low level. Some players try to stop Drifting Blood but get beaten up because of their low levels.
Shi Feng steps up to her aid as he knows she will be a great asset in the future. In the future, after the ice queen named gentle snow left Ouroboros, Violet Cloud started to advance her levels and went on to become a brilliant Level 5 cleric saint. She continued to make progress and finally reached the peak, becoming a level 6 cleric god and one of the greatest clerics in God’s domain all through her sheer will and hard work. Shi Feng picks up her drink and commends its taste.
Drifting Blood gets angry at Shi Feng for standing in his way and threatens to beat him up but Shi Feng uses his immense speed and strength to quickly get behind him and pin him to the ground. Everyone gets shocked to see a random player overwhelming a berserker in strength but they warn Shi Feng to hold back or the Red Leaf Town NPC guards will show up and detain him for trying to fight in a safe zone. Shi Feng understands the complications of his actions and so he only uses his raw strength refraining from using any skills.
Berserker gets angry at Shi Feng and pulls out his sword. He rushes towards him to kill him but Shi Feng easily deflects his sword and makes fun of him for being too weak which enrages him even more as he runs towards Shi Feng boiling with anger. The Npc guards arrive at the scene sensing the killing intent of Drifting Blood and detain him for 12 hours.
Violet thanks Shi Feng for coming to her aid and expresses her desire to repay him even though she doesn’t have any money. Shi Feng thinks for a bit but Violet gets flustered and shouts that she won’t sell her body which startles him. He hands her a gold coin and asks her to become his cook. Violet asks if he has some other motives and Shi Feng gets tired of her remarks and asks her to make up her mind.
Violet accepts the job and so Shi Feng offers her some money to buy the recipe and kitchen so that no one will harass her anymore. She asks him why he’s being so kind to her and he replies that he found her very diligent but in reality, he rejoices over the fact that he got a godly cleric using some coins. Shi Feng then makes his way to the slums to find the librarian to decipher the Elvish diary.
Shi Feng finds Sharlyn who tries to lure him into a corner. Shi Feng gets jumped by two thieves but he easily defeats them and so Sharlyn asks him his purpose for being there. He tells her that he wants to know the way to the library and so Sharlyn reveals that she is the librarian.
