Alert: This section contains the plot of the pilot.

House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 1 plot will basically revolve around the introduction to all the characters and setting the tone for the rest of the season. King Viserys will talk over his councilmen and will be seen worried about an heir. As for Rhaenyra, it is clear from her face that she is not okay with her father disregarding her presence and only wanting a son. Otto Highwater and his daughter Allicent Highwater will also be introduced. Otto is the hand of the king. As for Viserys’ younger brother Baelon, he is named his heir until the king has a son. This might actually change because, in Game of Thrones, we always heard Daenerys talk about Rhaenyra becoming the first Dragon Queen of King’s Landing.
