KPOP.FLEX Adds New Date & Announces Line-up Change
1st Kpop festival in Europe Announces Lineup changes

KPOP.FLEX is an upcoming 2022 European K-pop festival, touted as the first mega-concert of K-pop groups that is going to take place in Europe. As Kpop.Flex had previously said, it is supposed to provide five hours of entertainment, boasting a total lineup of thirteen popular K-pop acts. The festival was originally scheduled to happen only on 14th May 2022, at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany. But due to the high demand and good feedback from the fans, KPOP.FLEX went ahead and announced that they are going to add another date to the concert, along with a brand-new lineup that will perform on that day! So, now the festival is supposed to take place on the 14th and 15th of May 2022. This should have caused only gleeful excitement among the fans, but currently, KPOP.FLEX is facing a lot of criticism from the people who had previously bought tickets, for one certain reason.

As it turns out, KPOP.FLEX announced a change in the lineup order along with adding a new concert date, and this lineup change has gotten fans fuming! It was previously announced that MONSTA X would be performing on 14th May, due to which a lot of people who were especially interested in seeing MONSTA X perform bought their tickets. But on 14th February, the KPOP FLEX officials announced that MONSTA X would be unable to perform on 14th May and that their performance had been postponed to 15th May, and their sister group from Starship Ent., IVE would be replacing them on the 14th. The reasons for this change they cited were that MONSTA X had to withdraw due to “official domestic reasons”.

Fans Upset at KPOP.FLEX – MONSTA X Concert Postponement

In their official apology, KPOP FLEX did mention that the Saturday ticket holders could request a ticket swap for 15th May, or they could request a refund. But obviously, fans are not happy with this deal because, according to them, KPOP.FLEX didn’t take into account that a lot of fans would be coming to Germany from all over Europe and had already booked potentially non-refundable plane tickets and hotel rooms for attending the concert on the 14th. Fans are also upset at the fact that MONSTA X was originally supposed to be the Main Act for the concert and now are being replaced by a rookie group. They have taken to Twitter to express their anger at the KPOP.FLEX management.
