My Brilliant Friend Season 3 Plot
My Brilliant Friend is an Italian coming-of-age television series which is created by Saverio Costanzo. The story commences with a 60-year-old Elena recalling her friendship days with Lila, beginning from Naples in the 1950s. Written by Elena Ferrante, Francesco Piccolo, Laura Paolucci, and Saverio Costanzo, it follows their life in childhood, and as the show progresses towards their adolescence, we witness the complications of life in that phase including local politics, and the oppressive and violent customs that follow the life of common women born into a poverty-stricken family in post-war Italy. Though their paths diverge soon, the escape for the circumstances of their birth is still inevitable. The new season of the series will take their lives to a new chapter about which the loyal spectators of the show are already eager to watch.
The season finale of season 2 was a painful experience, as all the fans got to see what they were afraid of, as the second book ‘The Story of a New Name’ also mentioned that. It was so close that to know what will happen in the upcoming season, viewers are already reading the third book of Elena Ferrante ‘Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay.’ We saw Lenu now in a stable relationship and has graduated from University in Pisa, she has also published her first novel already.
