The battle between Hinata and Rmuru continues as both of them landed the final blow. Hinata attacks with Dead-End Rainbow. Rimuru unleashed Glattony, and the Dead-End Ran bow got canceled. Hinata jumps away, witnessing Rimuru transforming into his monster form. Hinata’s sword got swallowed, and she concludes that she will kill Rimuru. Hinata attacks with Astral Bind that Rimuru deflected away.
Hinata comments that Rimuru doesn’t have a soul, and she will try multiple attacks to stop him. She unleashes a Spirit summoning that got bitten by Rimuru 3 headed monsters. Hinata releases Disintegration that sealed everything, and she thinks that she has defeated Rimuru. She comments that she has avenged her teacher Shizu. Hinata left the battlefield with a smile. Rimuru is nowhere to be found.

Rimuru comes out from where he was hiding after noticing that Hinata has left. Ranga is glad they manage to escape Hinata’s seal. Ranga licks Rimuru in his slime form, and he realizes how he tricked Hinata and escape before she knows it. Hinata was fighting with Rimuru’s fake body. Rimuru was hiding near the grass, watching the battle until the end. Ranga comments that he doesn’t care as long as his master has won and he is alive.
Rimuru replies that he is calling it a draw, but they must hurry and return home. He jumps on top of Ranga and shouts to the Tempest. Nothing happened, and they wondered why. Great Sage reveals that a specified destination is not found. It appears Tempest has been isolated from the rest of the world by some sort of barrier. Rimuru asks if there’s a place near Tempest that they go to. Great Sage search and they got teleported there.
Rimuru and Ranga met with Souei with others inside the cave. He notices that Souei arm is injured, and he asks why. The doctor came and give Souei medicine; he drinks it, and his arm got healed instantly. Rimuru asks what is going on inside the Tempest, and they reply that they don’t know. Green monster comments that he cannot connect with his men who are headed to town. The doctor remarks that Tempest is enclosed with a barrier.
Soka reveals that Souei got hurt when he tried to break the barrier. Rimuru asks who put the barrier. Souei reveals that it was the human nation, the Kingdom of Falmuth. They have also initiated military action, and a large army is headed to the Tempest. Rimuru heads with his monster nation to the city. When he reached there, he touches the barrier and asks Great Sage to analyze it.
Great Sage finds that there great magic originating inside the barrier, the Anti-Magic Area. Great Sage also said the barrier cast causes a reduced magicule density from outside. Rimuru realizes that magicule density is the same as Hinata’s Holy Field. Greate Sage said that the principle is the same. But its purification ability is weaker, making it an inferior version. It can be resisted with Multilayer Barrier, and Rimuru noticed that it is a two-layered barrier.
Rimuru started wondering who did this and why he did it. He orders Souei to find the one capable of the barrier. He also told them not to get involved with the battle. Rimuru uses his powers combined with Ranga and manages to enter the barrier. He reaches where the green monsters are and find that they are injured. But the doctor is treating their wounds. Rimuri heard Benumaru clashing with someone, and he heads there.
Benimaru’s fighting with Youm and Grucius who are protecting Myulan. He has already taken down Youm. When he is about to finish Grucius, Rimuru arrives and tells him to stop. Benumaru told Rimuru that Myulan is responsible for everything and the barrier in the Tempest. Youm and Grucius apologize for protecting Myulan and for fighting with her nation. They wanted to tell the reason, and Myulan stops them from defending her.
She showed Rimuru everything that has happened to his nation. Rimuru can’t believe that most of the monsters are killed. They told him that humans were merciless when they killed the kind. Rimuru realizes that he had told his nation three rules before he left the Tempest. First, no attacking humans, second, no fighting amongst themselves, and third no belittling other races.
Rimuru realizes that because they followed those rules, they lost their beloved families and houses. Rimuru decided to calm his anger. He asks Myulan to follow him to the meeting room and explains what is happening. Myulan reveals everything to Rimuru, who realizes that Fulmuth Kindom and Western Holy Church are behind everything. 4Rimuru knows that those two Kingdoms don’t condone the existence of monsters. Myulan reveals that she serves under Demon Lord Clayman.
