The Notebook is a romantic movie starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams which was an adaption of the 1996 novel by Nicholas Spark. This movie was a sleeper hit which was the romantic genre of a couple which cuts from their past and present. As youngsters, there was romance blooming between them, but unfortunately they get separated as the girl Allie is from a rich family whereas the guy Noah is a local kid. Allie’s mother tells her how difficult her life will be if she marries a local man and how things will get hard for her. They get separated. Cut to the present, where they are old and Allie is suffering from Alzheimer’s, Noah returns and reads all the past from a notebook hoping Allie would remember everything and return back to normal.
