Black Widow is the 24th Marvel Cinematic Universe movie that is an American Superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics Book. The film is directed by Cate Shortland and written by Eric Pearson. This was supposed to be one of the biggest releases of the year. The project started in April 2004 involving David Hayter to write and direct, but due to unfortunate circumstances, it did not move forward.
The storyline follows the events that occur in between Captain America: Civil War, which was released in 2016 and Avengers: Infinity War, which was released in 2018, where Natasha finds herself alone, and she is forced to confront some dangerous schemes, which are tied to her past.
She is pursued by a force that will stop her from doing anything and everything where she returns to her history as a spy and relationships break before she turns into an Avenger.
Marvel has released an amazing trailer for Black Widow that has already amassed 14 million views till now and counting, thereby making the fans impatient to hit the theaters to watch the movie.
The movie is supposed to be a prequel. The movie begins in the timeline right after the fight scene in Captain America: Civil War, where Tony gives a speech to Natasha asking her to run. The tale will mostly include incidents from Nat’s childhood and how she safeguarded Black Widow.
The trailer has also revealed three new personas i.e., Alexei (Red Guardian), Yelena, and Melina. It seems like all of them will be joining the forces to defeat the new villain known by the name Taskmaster. The movie will allow the audience to understand more about the origin of Black Widow and meet her family members in Russia. The teaser was released on December 3, 2019. The official trailer was released on March 9, 2020, on the official channel of Marvel Entertainment.

Black Widow DVD & Digital Release Date
Black Widow DVD and Digital will be released sometime around February 2021. Because Black Widow will now be released on November 6, 2020. The movie was originally supposed to be released on May 1, 2020, but due to the Corona Virus Pandemic that the world is fighting against right now, the release has been postponed. We don’t have an official date for the release, but motion pictures have announced on the Marvel website that they will be probably releasing it on November 6, 2020, as we mentioned above.
Usually, it takes 3-4 months for the movie to release on DVD after it has been released on theatres. We will keep you posted once we have an official update on this.
