Naruto was a special kid; there’s no denial in that. And, Boruto is as special as his father. Naruto has done some spontaneous actions to seek attention from his village mates. Including the “sexy jutsu,” he used in his Jonin Selection Exams was unpredictable by the Third Hokage himself that took him by surprise. Although being able to create a beautiful lady disguise, he could not create a perfect Shadow Clone required for the Jonin Selections. Even though he failed, Iruka Sensei was there by his side, reminding him not to give up.
Mizuki, later revealed to be Orochimaru’s apprentice, fooled Naruto by telling him that he can pass Jonin if he stole a scroll from the Village containing all the forbidden Jutsu. Naruto unknowingly does that for him. With the forbidden scroll lost, the village goes into a frenzy. Iruka finds Naruto with the scroll and tells him the truth when Mizuki comes to fight. During the fight, Mizuki saves Naruto when he comes between him and the giant shuriken headed for him. This enrages Naruto, and he performs the Multi-Shadow Clan Jutsu and defeats Mizuki for good. Iruka then tells Naruto that he successfully passed Jonin as he successfully performed the Shadow Clone Jutsu, be it a forbidden super pumped-up version of it.
Naruto kisses Sasuke
Okay, if this was a list of Naruto’s funniest moments, this will undoubtedly be ranked first. Why did we include it in the Amazing List then? Well, because the kiss was amazing. Naruto walks into his new class with freshly accepted Joins. As it is customary to be formed in three groups, Sakura wishes her and Sasuke to be on the same team. Ino breaks her dream and announces that she’ll be with Sasuke, which sparks tension between the two. Naruto is offended by the attention Sasuke is getting and kisses him.
In fairness, though, he didn’t kiss him on purpose; that happened by accident. Naruto, in all his jealousy, jumps on the bench next to Sasuke. While glaring at Sasuke, he thinks what is so special about him that Sakura likes him instead. Shikamaru was standing next to Sasuke’s bench and turned around to see what all the fuss is about. He accidentally knocks Naruto, who was leaning too close to Sasuke’s face. Naruto tips over and his lips meet Sasuke’s.
The Bell(y) Test
Kakashi is well known for his strictness as he doesn’t allow his peers to pass as they don’t stand up to his expectations. As we see, the bell test is not a test meant to access physical abilities as team 7 students assume. Rather it is an emotional test where their friendship is tested. Kakashi met team 7 in the open ground and had previously asked the team to come early and without breakfast. He tells team 7 that he has two bells with him, and whoever manages to snatch one from his passes. This also meant, for the members of team 7, that one of them, at least, will fail.
Throughout the fight that Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke put up with Kakashi, they managed to get close but were unable to get the bells. With their stomachs rumbling with hunger, they become even more desperate. Just then, Naruto finds out the stash where Kakashi has hidden food. Naruto jumps, and as we expect, Kakashi catches him mid-air. Naruto is then tied to a big block of wood. And Sasuke and Sakura are given the food Naruto was trying to steal. Kakashi tells them that Naruto had tried to steal food, and as a result, he failed. If anyone else tries to feed him a portion of their food, not only will they fail, but they’ll be forced to leave ninja training as well.
Sasuke and Sakura were hesitant at first, but they both offered the part of their food after Kakashi left. Kakashi comes to the scene and announces that they all passed. The test, as he further explains, wasn’t about the bells at all. It was about teamwork as ninjas believe that no one must be left behind.
Naruto and Sasuke free Kakashi from Zabuza’s Water Prison
While the newly appointed team 7, lead by Kakashi, desperately wait for a mission worth their abilities, they are faced against Zabuza, one of the Akatsuki. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are busy protecting the Bridge Builder while Kakashi fights with Zabuza. Although Kakashi uses the Sharingan and fights neck and neck with Zabuza, he was captured in the Water Prison Jutsu. It might’ve meant the end for Kakashi if Naruto and Sasuke didn’t come to his rescue.
Previously, Naruto has a crush on Sakura, but she in turns like Sasuke. With the three of them put in the same team, there had to be some differences as Naruto and Sasuke compete against each other to prove that one is better than the other. But when Kakashi was caught, they had to put their differences aside to save their Sensei. They fight Zabuza individually but to no avail. When Zabuza’s water clone throws away Naruto’s Shadow Clones, he saves one clone of him and throws a Shuriken to Sasuke.
Sasuke then fake throws that Shuriken at Zabuza’s water clone instead aimed for the actual Zabuza. Zabuza jumps over the Shuriken without removing his hand from the water prison as he needs it to maintain it. The shuriken, just as it passes under Zabuza, turns out to be Naruto’s disguise. Naruto is now near Zabuza, and this took him by surprise. When Naruto throws an ordinary shuriken, Zabuza had to let go of the prison to dodge it. This, in turn, frees Kakashi, and he goes on to kick Zabuza’s ass.
This teamwork was as surprising to Zabuza as it was to Kakashi, Sakura, and us. Though Naruto hadn’t seen Sasuke eye to eye, he works with him to save their Sensei, and this had been the start of their long-running friendship.
Naruto and Sasuke Fight Orochimaru
During the Chunin Exams tower test, Naruto and his team are met with opponents from another village. It was soon revealed that it wasn’t another Jonin trying to make it to Chunin; rather, it was the demon himself. Orochimaru had killed that participant and his team and had disguised himself to infiltrate the Chunin Tower Test and meet Sasuke.
Whilst trying to fight Orochimaru proved to be really troublesome, Naruto and Sasuke managed to give him a fight. When Orochimaru stopped playing with the duo and showed his real prowess, he knocked Naruto for good. He then proceeds to do what he came for. He bites onto Sasuke’s neck and gives him the curse mark. Sasuke’s brought down with the curse, and Orochimaru leaves. Sakura then takes care as Naruto and Sasuke are both done for.
The third Hokage loses to Orochimaru.
Just after the Chunin Finals, the Sand Village Hokage captures the Third Hokage, revealing himself. It is none other than Orochimaru himself. While all of the Leaf Village ninjas are busy fighting the Sound and Sand Village ninjas, Orochimaru fights the Third Hokage.
Orochimaru also reveals that he has mastered the reanimation and immortalization forbidden Jutsus. He reveals that the mind can switch bodies and escape death altogether, and just like that, he’s living now inside a young girl’s body. Orochimaru underestimates just how powerful The Hokage actually is despite his old age. But then he reanimates the First and Second Hokages back from their coffins. He would have also reanimated the Fourth Hokage and was unable to as the Third Hokage stops that from happening. The two Hokages now fight the Third, and if he hadn’t summoned Enma, he would’ve lost then. Enma, the monkey king, transforms into a stick for the Third Hokage to fight. He also summons the death god and puts the dead Hokages where they should’ve been.
Orochimaru brings upon his legendary sword, and just as The Hokage was about to kill Orochimaru, He was struck with the sword in his back. Enma tries to stop it. Although this weakens the Hokage, he still manages to muster up a part of Orochimaru’s soul that leads him unable to use his hands. Summoning the Death God is forbidden as it’s the last Jutsu one can perform. This leads to the death of the Third Hokage, and Orochimaru retreats from the village.
Naruto Fights Gaara
In the Chunin finale, the last fight is between Sasuke and Gaara. During this highly anticipated match, when Gaara is unable to beat Sasuke as he is. He then tries to convert into Shukaku, the sand monster. It was originally intended to reveal that form when Sound and Sand Village ninjas attack alongside Orochimaru. Whilst he was converting, Sasuke uses his Chidori and inflicts some major damage even though his sand shield. Gaara’s teammates pick him up and escape while the Genjutsu takes over the audience as the village was under attack by Orochimaru.
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura start following Gaara after some time and Pakkun, the tracking dog summoned by Kakashi. When Gaara finally wakes up, he fights with Sasuke and captures Sakura. Even with the powers of the curse mark, Sasuke is unable to defeat Gaara. Naruto summons the king toad and fights with the sand monster Gaara has now become. When Naruto unleashes his Nine-Tailed Fox’s spirit, he merges with the King Toad and becomes Nine-Tailed Fox’s embodiment. Gaara had given in to Shukaku, the monster within. And they have a spectacular fight, but finally, the Nine-Tailed fox defeats Shukaku.
Itachi destroys the Uchiha Clan.
After Naruto defeats Gaara, Sasuke wonders why he is so weak that he could not save Sasuke. And Naruto had to save her. How will he take revenge on his brother Itachi for which he had been working so hard? Then he rethinks of the massacre that the Uchiha clan had encountered. And how has his own brother, the star of the clan, mercilessly killed the entire clan, including his own parents?
Previously it is shown how Sasuke keeps on asking Itachi to help him train, but Itachi keeps on rejecting everything. During a meet of the Leaf Village Police, two people don’t show up, one is Itachi, and the other guy is dead. Itachi was suspected of murder, but after he showed anger to those who came to suspect him, they left. Later that day, when Sasuke returns from his school, he found Uchiha streets eerily silent. Also, he had a feeling that someone was watching him behind his back atop a pole from the shadows. As he makes his way to his home, he finds his neighbors dead on the streets.
He hurries home to see if their parents are alive. No, they aren’t; they are dead as well. Sasuke hugs her mother and father’s lifeless bodies and cries. He then hears the gate close and turns back. It was Itachi. Sasuke asks how it all happened. Itachi goes on to explain that he killed the entire Uchiha clan just for fun.
Little Sasuke was in shock. He tries to attack Itachi but to no avail. Itachi easily takes him down and uses the Mangekyo Sharingan on his own little brother. After he’s done, he tells him to channel all his hatred towards him and train. So that one day, he probably would become an opponent worthy enough to fight. It’s no use in killing him now. Sasuke, all afraid, loses his mind and runs away.
Sasuke joins Orochimaru
Just as Sasuke has flashbacks of how his clan was killed, Kakashi drops in and tells a similar story. Kakashi, back in hi Jonin days, was unable to save his teammates. Kakashi, although he goes on to kill the murderer, but tells Sasuke that it doesn’t bring one peace. Sasuke was kept thinking, But as soon as Kakashi goes away, Orochimaru’s goons drop in. The sound four goons can fight in their usual stage but are soon overpowered by Sasuke as he uses his curse mark. The four then reveal that they too carry similar curse marks and then use them and defeat Sasuke like he’s nothing.
Sasuke waiting for the sound four to kill him was surprised when they tell him that they came here to take him, but only when he willingly comes along. In all his jealousy and the curse mark inflicting thoughts in his brain, Sasuke bids farewell to Sakura and meets with the four. The four calls him boss as he comes to be taken to Orochimaru.
Naruto Fights Sasuke
Sakura has been put to sleep by Sasuke just after telling him that he will join Orochimaru as soon as Sakura is found, and Tsunade is notified of this. Tsunade appoints Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba and Akamaru, Choji and Neji to go on a mission. This Sasuke Recovery Mission has called on the Joins, with Akamaru leading as the Chunin of the squad. The five of them track the sound 4, and each one of them stays back to find one of the four in the sound 4 squad. Choji fights Jirobo, Neji fights Kidomaru, Kiba and Akamaru fight Sakon-Ukon, and Shikamaru fights Tayuya. During the last fight, the fifth of the squad, Kimimaro, comes along. Gaara and Rock Lee show up and fight him while Naruto follows the escaping Sasuke.
Sasuke and Naruto meet up at the Valley of the End. Naruto looks up to Sasuke and asks him to stop all this madness and come home. Sasuke replies that he has wasted most of his time growing up in the Leaf Village, and he will now seek true power alongside Orochimaru and kill Itachi. Naruto says, if you don’t want a com, you have to go through me. They both fight real badass. Sasuke uses his curse mark powers and Naruto hi Nine-Tailed Fox’s spirit. They both fight neck and neck in the valley.
During the fight, Naruto uses his Rasengan and Sasuke his Chidori. They both clashed; Sasuke had aimed for Naruto’s heart but missed it and punched him in the gut. Naruto, as promised, scratches Sasuke’s headband but inflicts no damage purposely. When the dust settles, Sasuke turns out victorious and escapes.
