You watch an anime, love the character, the story plot, and may sometimes love some of the catchphrases from the series itself. Yes, a ‘catchphrase’ is as powerful as the whole anime itself. With just a phrase, you may be able to portray what you are feeling or what you are speaking of right now. What do you think of when asked to name some of your best catchphrases? It might be ‘Nico Nico Nii’ or ‘Believe it?’ Either of them is very much known amongst the Otaku, and there are more which you might be familiar with.

All may not be aware of the many catchphrases, and therefore, we bring you here with some of the famous lines and/or phrases that you would never regret looking at them and knowing more about them. With that being said, different people may have their own suited catchphrases. It seems like Bakugou’s Oi Oi Oi was made just for us to never get over with it! 9. Baka Boke – Tobio Kageyama

Imagine being your vocabulary only limited to ‘idiot’ and nothing else. Did you manage to slip in some other words except for ‘idiot’ when Kageyama, from Haikyuu!! compliments Hinata as ‘idiot’ and insults only as ‘idiot?’ No, right? Neither did I. Also, there’s Tsukishima, whose vocabulary came down to as Kageyama’s. It seems like Kageyama’s vocabulary has already become contagious and is also in every Haikyuu!! fan’s head.

8. Barou – Conan Edogawa

Detective Conan fan and amongst those who want to listen to Barou more and more. Relatable, isn’t it? Even a first-timer would want to hear the VA speak Barou again and again. Conan’s ‘Ba-ro’ phrase might be hard to explain, but both ‘seysakate Kudou’ and ‘Barou’ are said to be Otaku-ish memes.

Wearing armor and mumbling some great words, it lingers on your mind, doesn’t it? The same is the case with Usagi Tsukino in Sailor Moon, who might be a coward, but when she wraps herself with her transformation, she becomes someone reliable and goes off to save the Earth.

6. Ara Ara! Sayonara! – Shinobu Kochou

The most trending and the most nerve-breaking anime series, Demon Slayer has been creating some of the finest animations. But what gets remembered are some small details that could never go unnoticed by a fan. Shinobu’s ‘ara ara’ has become a phrase that is used in day-to-day life (problems). 5. Believe it! – Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto fans who may be having a hard time, here’s your all-time favorite catchphrase from Naruto in Naruto! ‘Beleive it,’ also Dattebayo, and always believe in your belief. Mixing Japanese and English speeches, Dattebayo did not have a literal meaning and instead was translated as ‘Believe it’ for a better understanding.

4. Yare Yare Daze – Jotaro Kujo

Pulling his hat down to his eyes, Jotaro Kujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has the manliest “yare yare daze” voice. Salute to Daisuke Ono. Even the fans try to maintain the same tone as Jotaro.
