Karakai Jouso no Takagi san also known as Teasing master Takagi san, was released on 8th January 2018. The series turned out really cute and has shown different colors of young romance. It gained a lot of fame and became one of the best romance anime series. Season 1 ended on 12th July 2018, followed by season 2 in July 2019. After that, the series went on a hiatus of around three years which made the fans really restless. It became highly anticipated, and finally, the creators decided to drop it out this year. It has already been released on 8th January 2022 and till now have aired 8 episodes.

8.Vanitas no Carte 2nd Cour
Vanitas ni Carte of Case Study of Vanitas is one of those vampire tails that will be remembered for a long time. The series was released on 3rd July 2021 and is still ongoing, continuously releasing its sequels. The 1st Cour of the series ended on 18th September 2021, and it’s not been very long since the creators dropped its 2nd Cour. 7. Rent-a-Girlfriend – Season 2
TMS Entertainment’s Rent a Girlfriend is known for serving really good content based on romance and comedy concepts. The series is not very old as it was released on 11th July 2020 and might release a sequel this year. It has been two years since the series ended on 26th September 2020, and fans want this cute show to continue. Although a new season is not announced yet, it is expected that the creators might announce it and schedule its release in 2022. 6. Kaguya Sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic
Kaguya Sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic is apparently the 3rd sequel for the series that is ready to drop out soon. The first anime adaption of Kaguya Sama manga was released on 12th January 2019 and ended with 12 episodes. After that, another series titled Kaguya – Sama: Love is War? released on 11th April 2020, and it also concluded with 12 episodes. Now a sequel to all these series will be released produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Shinichi Omata. Till now, not much has been revealed, only the major staff, which includes screenplay writers as Yasuhiro Nakanishi and Yukie Sugawara. As for the release date, it is scheduled for April 2022, and a particular date is yet to be out.

5. Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ogonkyou
The anime series Made in Abyss is based on the manga release of its first anime adaption on 7th July 2017. It was followed by a few anime films which literally broke the theaters in Japan. After waiting for whole 5 years, we are going to get its sequels ‘Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun’. The things that are revealed till now it is going to be produced by Kinema Citrus Studio under the direction of Masayuki Kojima. As for the release date, it’s scheduled for this year has been confirmed, but a particular date and time are yet to be declared.

4. Tiger and Bunny 2
The original anime series Tiger and Bunny was released by the production of Sunrise Studio. It was directed by Keiichi Sato and Kunihiro Mori. The series was so popular that it was made available on all the leading anime streaming websites. It was released on 3rd April 2011 and ended with 25 episodes on 18th September 2011. After that few games and anime films based on the plot were released that kept the franchise active. However, the anime series, which was highly anticipated, was not even mentioned until it was 2022. After a long, long wait of 9 to 10 years, the series is going to hit the networks really soon on 8th April 2022.

3. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure is one very popular anime series. It is known for its arts which are funky ad give the vibes of the west. More like a sequel, the new part of the series is dropping out really soon, making fans crazy already. The upcoming sequel will be having one and only female Jojo of the whole series Jolyne Cujoh as the protagonist. She was previously introduced in Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure: Eyes of Heaven videogame. The series has already released its first 12 episodes on Netflix on 1st December 2021. However, it became anticipated for 2022 because it got a schedule for airing in Japan in 2022.

2. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2

It hype is real, and it actually deserves all this because it is the most awaited series on this whole list. The first anime adaption was released on 4th October 2004 and ended with 366 episodes on 27th March 2012. The last arc from the manga that is ‘Thousand-year blood war arc,’ was not included in that series, so it is now getting an anime adaption. After the wait of an actual decade, the creators decided to break all the records once again and make an iconic comeback.

It is once again going to be released by Pierrot Studio and will be making its first appearance in October 2022. Make sure you have marked your calendars for this one because even though it is an old series, it is not forgotten.
