Thailand has its BL dramas game sorted, and fans have accepted this without a fuss. Director Waa Waasuthep Ketpetch’s directed series titled You Are My Favorite, also otherwise called Be My Favorite, is all set for release on May 26th, 2023. The show follows a BL romance theme and has cast actor Krist Perawat Sangpotirat for the role of Botkawi and actor Fluke Gawin Caskey in the role of Pisaeng.
The show also has actress Aye Sarunchana Apisamaimongkol in a supporting role as Praemai alongside Title Kirati Puangmalee as Pisaeng’s best friend, Knot, and Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran as Botkawi’s friend, Max. The show has taken heavy inspiration from a book called ‘You Are My Favorite’ written by author JittiRain.
The series promises a fluffy and lighthearted enemies-to-lovers trope which starts with Botkawi finding himself in the same bed as another man, Pisaeng. The latter reminds him of their one-night stand, which Botkawi seems to have no memory of. This one night triggers a series of fights and adorable bickering between the soon-to-be couple as fate continues to bring them in each other’s path.
Obviously, the show will not just be a happy rainbow-colored romance with the couple slowly falling for each other. The series has supporting characters all ready to bring problems and misunderstandings into the couple’s lives. Fans will have to watch the show to find out how our main leads will deal with and unravel the misunderstanding among them.
You Are My Favorite: The Plot
What may seem like a normal romance story between two gorgeous-looking men is actually a story sprinkled with a tiny bit of science fiction and time travel. In the present time, Botkawi is shown as thoroughly in love with the Praemai, a beautiful girl who has been in his life for a very long time. Praemai has never really reciprocated her feeling for him, and Botkawi has patiently waited for her.
But the latter’s life takes a surprising turn when a certain crystal ball that he bought for Praemai accidentally transports him back to the time he was eighteen years of age. Not knowing that the ball has magical abilities, Botkawi struggles with his reality and is desperate to find his way back. But his fate has something completely different in store for him.
His life gets completely uprooted, and the cherry on top of all of the chaos in his life has to be Botkawi’s one-night stand with Pisaeng, one that he does not even remember. He tries his best to get things right with the love of his life, Praemai, but clearly, that does not seem to be happening anytime soon, considering he has more urgent and life-impacting problems to deal with.
Botkawi has no memory of him sleeping with Pisaeng, so he easily gets over Pisaeng’s nonsense, convincing himself that nothing like that must have happened, but Pisaeng seems to think the complete opposite. The latter takes a liking to Botkawi and decides that he must pursue him and do his best to be with him.
The two bicker and fight but eventually develop feeling for each other but it is more difficult for Botkawi, who previously also liked Praemai, and those feelings continuously interfere with what he feels for Pisaeng. Fans should tune in to the show to find out how the couple deals with the obstacles in their brand-new romance.

The show will be launching its first episode on May 26th, 2023, and it will have a total of ten episodes, each with a running time of no longer than forty-five minutes.
